I knew she would not be awake he thought as he turned the door knob and went inside the room."Sanyu come on get up,its 9 and you are...sanyu??"

He found the room empty.He checked the bathroom. Empty.

Where is this girl.."

He looked around the room and saw that the bed was already made."Is she already...

DHUM DHAP TRANG

He heard a clatter downstairs.He rushed downstairs towards the dining hall from where the sound had come and saw her arranging the table for breakfast.

"Good morning dad. You are late today"

"Or should i say you are early today.It's just 9 right now and today is even Sunday. Its definitely early for you today." he chuckled.

"Very funny dad. And what if it's a Sunday today. I am grown up now and from today i have decided to get up on time and do all my things properly on time.Im not your little girl anymore.Im a mature adult now who can handle her responsibilities herself.Now go and freshen up fast, breakfast is almost ready."

Mr Vikram Agarwal was amused.His daughter of all the people was talking about responsibilities and maturity.That girl who couldnt even get up on time properly. This girl definitely has something going on her mind now.Anyways we will see for how many days you are able to follow your new resolution thought Mr Vikram Agarwal as he got up from the table and went towards his room to get ready.

Well it was a different start for the day.Usually it was he who had to wake his daughter up everyday.But today he himself had been late to get up as he had come home from office very late last night and had ben extremely tired.

Dad looks extremely tired thought sanyukta as she breakfast prepared the breakfast.She then laid the plates for two people.

Two. Yes only two people lived in the house.She and her father.

Should i bring up the topic again thought sanyukta.But i need to make him agree and sign the form fast as the last date for submission is just 5 days away.

"What are you thinking sanyu?" she heard her father 's voice as she came out of her thoughts.She had been so immersed in her thoughts that she dint even notice her father entering with a newspaper in his hand.And this dint go unnoticed by him.

"Nothing important dad, just like that.You sit il serve you.

10 minutes later the 2 people sat down to eat.

"See dad i prepared your favourite aloo parathas today.And you know i was thinking you seem very tired to me so today i will do your share of the gardening work.You can just relax and enjoy your sunday."

"Sanyukta what do you want?Come on i am your dad and i know there is something you want for which you are doing all these things to impress me."

"No dad.Its nothing"

"Sanyu..speak up."

"Umm..Ok..Please dont get angry.I know you dont want to talk about this again and again but please dad let me go to T'he presidency'.That's always been my dream and you know that. and its the.."

"Enough ...her dad interupted.I think we have already had enough talks over this and my decision is still the same.You are not going there."

"But dad what's the problem.I mean its India's top engineering college."

"I know all that but its in mumbai which is so far away from here.If you go then i will be all alone here.After your mom's death i ..." and stopped.He looked up at sanyu who was on the verge of crying.

A long silence prevailed..Sanyukta got up from the table and ran towards her room.

"Sanyu..beta pls finish you breakfast."

Vikram tried to stop her but all he heard was a bang of a door being shut hard.

"Sorry beta. I know its your dream and believe me i would have been the happiest person to see you study there.

But i cant.I am scared beta.For what happened 13 years back..I cant loose you.If something happened to you then..no no.Its a decision for your own good.

I'm sorry beta.But if only you knew..."thought Vikram as tears started to fall from his eyes..

Ok that's it for now.I know maybe yeh part boring lage.But i need to make a start and build a base..
