QH2 reminds me so much of the movie Beta.

A step mother (or a mother)? - Using a son for her selfish reasons

A brother - a quack doctor

A servant - who has the good of the family in his/her heart

An uncle and aunt - Who are only obsessed with money?

The hero - who blindly follows his mother (and the similarity ends here😆)

The heroine - who knows to speak her mind and is an ideal foil for the hero and his mother.

Anyone else feeling the same.

I have no idea. I quit the show a few days back. I love Surbhi as Sanam and KVB is doing a good job also but the thought of Sanam being with Tanveer's son (until proven otherwise) makes me sick to the stomach. I wish Tanveer had had nothing to do with this leap - she is the sole reason I have quit 😒

Gitey - now that you mention it...yes there are similarities...but it better no be like beta...they will have to dumb down Ahil a whole lot in order to do that.

Ahil, I am hoping is not Tanveers' son. And the flashbacks indicate as much. But, its QH, so can't say anything for sure.

Tanveer - 😡 for making you quit inspite of liking sahil.

That's why I mentioned the similarity ends with both worshipping their moms.

You haven't caught the last few episodes, Ahil actually acts dumb when his mom is around.

Just a thought occured. And was free anyway.😆

the hero ..character played by Anil kapoor was way too different from ARI . So for me the similarities end there ...that is the personality traits of ARI like his accent ( sorry stuck there only ) the swagger the philandering ways etc but when it comes to the core of ARI it looks vaguely similar to that of Anil kapoor😕 worshiping the mother ! and looking so dumbstruck like a pup

i knew you would make this as you mentioned beta couple of times !

It was a Anil Kapoor-Madhuri starrer hit movie with some lovely songs.

The mother (Aruna Irani) keeps the step son under her thumb by making him illiterate and convincing him its for his better. Actually, there;s a will that gives the property to the beta and his wife.

And then Mads enters the house as the bahu and puts all of them in their places.

Yesterday, the similarities stuck me all the more with the quack doctor. Now, I'm sure there is a will involved too.

Yes, the similarities of AK and AHil end with mother worship.

Yes ARI has a to die for accent. Make it your signature.😆
