Awesome couch potato - May you lie on many more couches if this is what you come up with superb! All of them are amazing and I see each character in a new light with many different shades - and it's amazing! Paro's muse is astonishing - you can't fight your destiny eh!

All that she could have been. And what she chose to be. Beautifully written. A good reminder that we're all infinite. And the power to change our lives lies within us. I dont know if that was the point you were trying to make , but that's what resonated with me.

Couch!
This was extraordinarily skilled. A life in a paragraph. I obviously like four and five, in the sense, I like the lives you painted there the best.

I often struggle to find words to hammer the message home that Paro is many things but not weak. She is not meek or mild either. She is not a loudmouth, she is not sassy, she may be socially unsure, but she has courage, she is a survivor and she took on a fearsome officer with no thought to life or limb even after witnessing horror that most of us do not dream about. In fact, in the way she dealt with him early days, it is quite like situations where the hostage tries to understand the captor in order to form a bond and convince the captor of her/his release.

And in her various avatars, you have painted some of this in. The avenger. The destroyer. The creator. The sustainer. But above all, something of an enigma!

Oh, and Senbon, stop stalking first spot all the time! 😉

Sheer beauty intensified. I never pictured Paro this way.
I am looking forward to a full fledged story from you.

Oh well! Thank you senbonzakura, for recommending this to me...
I dont know how I missed this, have been watching out for you, since I read Wonderful Tonight.

I am actually spellbound and quite at a loss for words (and that is saying something, since I normally cant stop talking/typing)

Such depth of thought, such a unique writing style...i am so in awe!!!

You draw parallels between Mala and a magpie...the bird that is attracted to shiny objects...just like Mala...her desire to fly higher, took her to a cage...gilded, of course...but a cage, all the same!
As we read your take on her, we can feel her anguish with this half life that she leads and see her wallow in the knowledge that she chose this life for herself..
Superbly done!

The Thakur,..the self-proclaimed monarch...I actually feel a little bad for him, when he takes it upon himself to protect the so-called legacy of his ancestors...so unnecessary...
But again, he seems to have convinced himself that this is what he was born for...to keep the family name untarnished...
That you managed to make us ponder over the pitiable plight of the main antagonist...what talent!!

The maniac...the protagonist...the dark, damaged soul in desperate search of an anchor...and when he finds her, he is overcome by fear...that she will change him, will make him feel..
It's ironic how he does have a dream... But is too jaded to think of the dream ever coming through..
I loved how you wrote this particular piece...each emotion depicted beautifully..
I especially loved:

So quiet, a single breeze could wreck havoc. Leave echoes that could raise tornados and crumble him to the ground.

If he didn't lose his temper, he'd have lost his mind.

And finally...loved Muse...the various lives she could have led...yet the one where she finds her true self, the best fit is the one she is living and breathing...she is at her strongest, confident in her own skin! She fights a new battle everyday, to keep the tenuous thread of her relationship with Rudra..yet she attains peace and finds herself complete in all ways!!

Enjoyed reading this series immensely!!!

Wold love to see more from you!!

Love

Absolutely AMAZING 👏 👏 👏

You really have studied the characters SO well and in so much detail...this is what i first read about RR..no one is black..no one is a villian..everyone is motivated by their own dreams..sometimes selfish but nothing completely drastic and tragic.
Each character playing its own game..has its own history and reasons for doing what they are doing
Paro is the only character that is white and i jus LOVE that last paragraph...it describes the situation so aptly

Iv never come across this sort of writing style and i dont think i ever will 😳

I just read the last three pieces. Your words leave me speechless. You are so gifted. I hope you write in some sort of capacity in whatever profession you are in or chose to be in. It would be a loss otherwise.

I cannot begin to praise your works and your words here. I was so taken in.
The Monarch: A piece on Thakur. No one writes on him. Bravo to you and so well done. What a take, insight in some space that no one else will dare go. To see him as human and not that hateful villain who has destroyed so many innocents. To see him as a pained character who is trying to live up to an image. My words will not be enough here.
The Maniac: Breaking down the man into feelings. Courageous. Anger resonated with me. What would he be if not for his anger. He needs it like a shield. Its his protection and protector of what is left of him. Fear, of her. of the woman who has the power to destroy all that he has left. Its terrifying for a person like him to let someone into his soul. You made that so clear.
The Muse: "His salvation lies in her." Truer words haven't been written. This is the case for these two- our Soldier and his Muse.
This last piece was so ethereal. Almost like watching someone have dreams, different scenarios and then finding the one that brings the smile to your face when you are sleeping. Fitfulness that turns to peace.
As I have written above and before, you are gifted and I am privileged to read these works. 👏⭐️
