in galas, every contestant sings a solo song...infront of audience, and judges and watnot...den ppl vote for who they liked...

den the next day....whoever has the lowest votes is eliminated...

the galas are the main part of the show...

even during piano round itz similar....but there itz more about who is getting selected..cuz like 3 ppl from each piano round are selected...the rest all have to leave...

but in galas...itz more about who is getting eliminated...as onli 1 goes...and the rest stay..
