Let's not continue this discussion further
But

Fasting.. barter? I see no connection
Fasting-It is one of the fundamentals of faith in Islam, and Allah ordered to do so. To appreciate the importance of the blessings of Allah, like if u didn't experience being hunger, you will feel wat those poor people feeling when they have nothing to eat

What if that is what they are planning to prove? Therefore this drama is put forth to show that god's love is uncondditional.Lord shiva is everybody's dad.Shiva does not need anything in return. All he needs is the pure love for him and he will help anybody, even if the person is bad.We all are his children.

All temples and churches have donation boxes exactly for that purpose. And every single worshipper donates ... whether it be a token, or a large amount ... but they all do.

The poor pandit didn't realise that Paro would take him literally ... he was probably hoping for a cash gift ... maybe some gold or diamonds ... even a piece of land if he was really lucky ... all in the name of the temple, of course!!! šŸ˜†

donot know why i felt your post offensive šŸ˜•

we donot offer money to god for blessing but we believe that money will be used for good things, ...
we offer something to god in believe that he did alot for us with asking or without asking then why cannot we do something for him going out of our comfortable level

that is what i believe as offering...

there are difference some people feel happy in donation that you cannot mock

but feeling that if you donot offer god something he will punish you is called foolishness and giving away your life or love feeling god is asking to give him what he gave us is called foolishness

and that is what RR CVs are showing and i feel really worst of CVs

as some one said paro is illiterate but CVs are not ... they are making mockery of everything😔

sorry to be rude

paro's stupid bargain is going to push rudra further into darkness. he suffered a major heartbreak thanks to his mother and now paro is going to leave for the deal and break his already broken heart further. what she does not get it after breaking a man completely, there is no difference between life and death for him. she is killing him with her own hands (metaphor) by leaving him coz he just started to heal and come out of his shell.

true buddy , donating money is not a bad thing
when i got my first salary my mo wanted me to transfer a part of it to her so that she can donate it in temples , that was not for anything as such

and some temples do take up good social work which are religiously approved
anything that makes you feel connected to god in any small way cannot be bad

but i think what the TM means is sometimes pandits do take benefit of this , like when i do it , it is good
some one telling me to sacrifice something valuable i dont think anything of that sort is written in any ved purana
yeeah sacrific materialstic pleasure and grihastashram is written , but that is a long way after you have completeg grihastashashram
so i feel it was just the pandit asking for a donation

on a seroius note cvs cpuld have avoided it

we cant blame anyone here...neither paro nor cvs..sometimes ppl do such kinda innocent offerings...not everyone think like atheist or intelligent enough in what to pray and what not to ask or what not to offer..it all depends on their edgy situations...

Watch a movie called Oh My God with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar ... it makes the same point that I have made above. I make no apologies for this ... this is fact.

Some temples and churches do good work with the money ... all don't.

@bold ... God needs money? 😲

Can we not thank God by doing something in kind? Like the kar seva that Sikhs do at gurudwaras? That makes far more sense to me than donating money ... devotees donate their time and their efforts. THAT is going out of your comfort zone ... not just giving money.

thats why I call our Dumb bells paro but we love her because she loves our hottest hottie Rudra (be still my heart)

Omg was a good movie it was about exploiting faith for money , wrong
Believing demi god I ammgoing there

God doesn't want Money
I think my mom is very much aware of it :-)
So doesn't god want antibody to stay hungry
Or take trouble and go to any temple

So have all these people got it wrong
I think no , it is not food, money that people are giving up
It is the effort that go into going to the temple , or remembering to stay hungry
Same with money , small or large it is a part odd your hark work , reward to my hard work
It is that hard work , effort that I can donate , not Money

Religion I think Is a set of rules to lead a life and achieve god
But god is about faith , which Is iindividualistic , what makes it right or wrlong is only only intention
Not the act
So I can't say whether donating money is suprior or inferior to social work from religious pov
Ps sorryy about typo it is my mobile
