Ranveer Singh irks Deepika again

Mumbai:Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone found it rather hard to hide their chemistry at the recently concluded IIFA in Tampa Bay, US. The lovebirds were understandably the talk of the town. They did make many efforts to keep it low, but in vain.

After rehearsals, the duo would be spotted having cosy candlelight dinners at an open-air restaurant in Tampa. While the two seemed very much into each other, the only cause of slight friction between them was Ranveer's over-friendly attitude towards his fans. The actor seemed very willing to pose with the locals but his ladylove didn't want to oblige and wasn't too happy about his enthusiasm either.

"Earlier in the day, when Deepika was shopping at the popular International Mall in Tampa, she was more than happy to pose with her fans. But being a private person, she is never keen to put her personal life on display. When they were dining together, fans asked them to pose together. While both declined the offer, Ranveer, not wanting to disappoint his fans, agreed to pose solo. That seemed to irk Deepika and her discomfort was very evident," says an eyewitness.

This isn't the first time that Deepika has objected to Ranveer's over-enthusiastic attitude. In fact, the actor's former lover, Anushka Sharma, too, had similar issues with him. However, a close associate of the actor defends him, saying, "Ranveer's fans love him for what he is. I don't see why anyone should have a problem with it or would want to change him. His energy and enthusiasm is his USP. Why would anyone want to change that?"
