Got this from twitter and facebook.

Apparently Fawad would even endorse a shitty product like this for the sake of money, not realizing how irresponsible of him it is considering how much discrimination there is on the basis of skin colour in Pakistan.

He's just getting carried away now, but that's how these people function, everything hinged on the superficial, fuelling the already complex ridden people in deeper. It's a curse when you're so fixated with the shallow, you'll always look for flaws and continue throughout your life and never attain a peace of mind ever or feel content with what you have. This whole fair n lovely sham is just an extension of that colonial hangover and false representation of 'beauty'

I have no idea why I've automatically been termed a Fawad hater... All I said was that I'm disappointed in him for choosing to endorse this, but anyway...

His fans on twitter claim that no one in Pakistan has ever spoken up against fairness creams before and that the only reason they are now is because of Fawad so they should feel proud of Fawad for endorsing such a product since he's created a huge impact [what even?]

Some of the notifications that I've recieved:

"Don't say anything about him, it would be be better... Baat aage tak jaa sakti hai"

"Why should we criticize him when all he's doing is f**king just an ad" [Just an ad? Hmm... Really?]

"It's good people will now use creams to make their skin fairer"

"Fawad ne endorse kiya toh sab bole"

"Before Fawad no one even bothered to discuss this"

"Sana ko Fawad pasand hai aur ek dum se uski itni burayi can't believe it"

"Tumhe Fawad se koi problem nahin honi chahiye"

"Better hoga apnay views apne paas rakho"

"Go away from here then"

I just stated my views saying that as a celeb Fawad should be more careful and responsible since him endorsing this leaves a huge impact and people in Pakistan already live with low self-esteem and have to deal with discrimination. Got like 100+ notifications. Random fans are tweeting to me and telling me to go off twitter for this... What the actual f**k?

Someone even said it's just a fairness ad not harpic that he's endorsing. I swear Harpic is better to endorse than shitty fair & lovely.

That isn't their concern, money is.

People are saying why shouldn't Fawad endorse this. Your brothers, fathers, and husbands use this at home anyway.

I've never seen a guy using a fairness cream in my whole family even extended family.. who uses these things? 😕

LOL. Not dissapointed at all. Iam a Fawad Fan and all but Come on Fawad is money minded, he has got a nose job done himself and said in Mahira's chat show how important it is to look good/beautiful. So if there is anyone who should be endorsing FL its FK.

Why should you endorse FL in the first place? The issue of discrimination on the basis of skin colour is already so prevalent in Pakistan... People are getting there faces injected with god knows what to become fairer so society would accept them. The kind of power Fawad has, he should promote a.product against this instead of for this.
