2 States grossed around 2-2.25 crore nett on its second Monday taking its business to over 75 crore nett and becoming the second highest grosser of the year till date after Jai Ho.
Similar box office stories over the last couple of years like Barfi! and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag were extraordinary in week three which enabled them to go comfortably over the 100 crore nett mark. 2 states will be on 81 crore nett after two weeks and both Barfi! and Bhaag Milha Bhaag were also in the 81 crore nett range give or take 50 lakhs.The film will probably stay steady over the weekdays like it did in the first week and have two week business in the 81 crore nett range. It remains to be seen if it can hit the 100 crore nett mark or even challenge Jai Ho as the biggest grosser of 2014.
