Going by the current trend of affairs in SC SLB is remembered and missed largely. Show started with great buzz and surpassed our expectations creating magic on small screen. Treatment was unique, fresh and impressive. Magnificent sets ( haveli mandir, big courtyards, pool, terrace missing now ) brilliant photography, charming leads, wonderful writing and direction, beautiful promos made us hooked to the show everyday. Ethereal music, beauty and purity associated with the show took it to a new level. It was promoted as a poignant love story and the treatment lived upto it. Main focus was on leads and love, romance and charm were written all over the show. We were always rooting for great chemistry of leads and they never failed us. All characters were well etched and well performed. ( Spl. mention to old kumud's dad ) Be it beautiful, lighter moments or emotional scenes b/w leads all shone with SLB stamp. Who can forget those plenty of adorable samud scenes? Initial treatment was light and breezy with enough drama and post kumud marriage it geared up for a fast paced story. Pramad as villain was superb and the actor played it brilliantly. Story in that phase was gripping and gave a feel of a classic love tragedy. With SLB' s exit Story fully deviated from original. The iconic love saga is reduced to a mere revenge drama. Characters lost originality ( eg.kusum ) and good ones shown door ( sunny, kumari, dadaji ). To me the most disgusting track till today is the entire Kusum track which may not have happened with SLB. The only highlight is samud marriage and the associated events brought the past memories of the show. Dansum are good together. Kabir's characterization and the fabricated suspense drama doesn't add any value. Enough has been written and discussed about the current track. The lost charm,flavour,the classic approach,the ehsaas that connected us to the show,epic romance,intimacy of soulmates, creativity etc, make us remember the magician Mr . SLB. kindly share your views. Thanks.

Very well said, dear. It was the magic touch of SLB and a very talented creative team and an excellent ensemble cast that made Saraswatichandra a show to watch.

Now, the original creative team has been replaced with an extremely mediocre crew, the original characters are no longer given their due and are most idling, one after the other new characters are introduced that are unreal and events and characters are no longer seamlessly flowing together, rather characters are artificially twisted to make events happen and we no longer have a story, we have tracks and episodes.

A case in point is the kusum track, from their biggest supporter, she was suddenly shown to be obsessive, selfish and almost diabolical. Just as suddenly as she had turned evil, in one episode she was back to her old self. Well the writers may have forgotten that she tried to kill Kumud and so may have the characters, but for the viewers she still remains the evil selfish sister, and kusum of old is forgotten.

Then lately the story has suddenly jumped into Guman's secret, which was also just thrust into the story without any build up. The show has lost all it's originality and uniqueness, and is popular only because of the leads

Now the makers have decided to sideline the only thing that brings the viewers that's the relationship of Saras and Kumud, the loyal viewers too are little by little walking away.

I agree with everything.

Except the Pramad track. It was prolonged way too much. Dont know which team was at the helm. showing kumud endlessly bearing DV was terrible. I remember this forum had almost lost hope.

There were many beautiful scenes after kumud came back to her maika. But the whole plot got diluted. The tightness in script was no more there.

Yeah kusum track was yucky.

After the beautiful pre- wedding romance and lovely wedding, things went totally wrong. Now the writers think Saras n kumud need pockets of romance here n there. Like we got for holi. And like we might get for honeymoon. Otherwise they are extra formal with each other. Tracks n characters are not woven together. So it ends up like an ugly patchwork.

Yes, I'm a big fan of SLB and his magnificent works.. that list includes this show as well.. Proud that I'm an SCian and this show will never leave me, not even till my last breathe! (in regard with all that grandeur start , the great cinematography , epic story. And I loved it only till the Marriage scenes, later all crap)

The character butchery is an inevitable factor in this telly world, so we just cant help it. Nor can we change it. 😵

Hope they just end this all non-sense and non-logical revenge drama and at least give a good adieu to this epic show! 🤓

SLB made us woww over the show with the awesome promos, including golf, racing, sky diving, exclusive dubai...and intense love story of bachelor saras and maiden kumud...
