I absolutely love season 2! I mean Asad and Zoya will always remain in our hearts but God it had gotten pretty boring near the end when they replaced KSG with Raquesh not that it was his fault. We had seen a pretty long journey where they fall in love in the most adorable heartbreaking moments and I definitely love the scene when Asad defends Zoya when they are living in SM about the whole fake ad stuff. I mean Zoya is my favorite Indian television character for these reasons; she wears jeans, eats pizza, knows how to use electronics and is a lovable person. I mean most telly heroines are poor or middle-class simple girls who have uptight morals, are the darlings of their families and do not know how to face the world. They are clad in salwar kameezes when they are unmarried and after marriage where saris everywhere with dangling mangalsutras and sindoor inked in their head partings- no offence. A person who wears western clothes is automatically assumed to be a vamp for dear God how could she wear short skirts and wear makeup? Zoya is fiercely independent, who speaks her heart and is a bit of a feminist. Why wont anyone not love her? Asad is our orthodox at times obnoxious guy who is bit of a control freak and is chauvinist. But hell freezes over and the two fall in love. The message the show spread truly touched my heart. As a modern Indian girl, it was refreshing to see an intelligent, humorous rom-com show with high elements of drama in the middle end 😕.
Now to my main point- Sanam and Aahil. I love Aahil. I love his personality. Sure he's a jerk, an asshole but God he is charming and handsome. His personality is attractive; money-minded, ruthless, dangerous yet humorous, lively, flirtatious and has a heart of gold. Sanam is a perfect mix of her parents. OCD like her dad, flair for business and some sort of calm intensity.
Lively like her mother, love of shyaries and poetry, bollywood films and quietly passionate. She is not bitter about the responsibilities she had to undertake like Asad was bitter about his father leaving and she is actually a shy person. She seems to be a closet romantic and seems to have an idealized version of love- Anwar. She can definitely be bubbly and talk too much when surrounded by family or her dhaba family. However she also has fire in her. We saw it when she confronts Aahil and burns his car in sheer anger. Now there's going to be extreme hate and I can't wait to watch it.

I mean with AsYa, they didnt really hate each other, they just disliked what the other represented and sure they fought all the time like crazy and were pretty hurtful and mean sometimes(Asad to Zoya)- this is going to better for Sanam is really going to hate Aahil. He destroyed the thing she loved most, her dhaba, her livlihood, her passion, her calling and her pride. She destroyed his car but just wounded his pride and ego. I want her to feel hatred for him and full passionate journey for them. I mean in IPKKND (and I dont mean any offence here), Arnav nearly destroys Khushi's life in Lucknow and all she does is take a job to repay for the damage and him ordering her around. Which was fine and I mean with them it was a beautiful love story but why does only a man take revenge or play with a woman's life? I mean if I was Sanam regardless of how hot the guy was I would not forgive or do his bidding instead figure out some way to make him pay back. Arrogance is unfortunately an attractive quality in man but he should know his limits. So I want a completely different story from AsYa as they are different characters plus AsYa are evergreen and I bet no one wants to see repeated performances.

One last thing if Seher is alive which I bet she is, I hope they make her a fraternal twin and have some other actress playing her as a parallel lead. She could be like negative first who improves later on and have her own side love story. But identical twins would be too much and I really hope there is no love triangle. Show evil, show drama but make it different. That was the USP of QH before they started putting too much drama...and I hope they handle this season beautifully.

Sorry for writing so much...words just started flying on the keyboard!

Awesome post dear. I agree with you! 👏
After KSG exit I didnt watch this show anymore but sometimes only a pieces and bits but still I couldnt see new Asad ( no offence to Raqs and his fans) but I was sooo addicted to KSG as Asad.
Anyway I watch the show again cos of KVB. Man he has always suprised me be it in KZK as Prem, DSDD as Viraj or the innocent cute silly Dhruv in Shararat. CVs made a perfect choice for offering him the rol of Aahil.

I am looking forward for more SaaHil scenes. They look very good together.
Hope this season wins our heart again and doesnt make it all dramatic and horrible in the middel or at the end.
