I don't know how long we expect rudra to treat this poor girl, who loves him unconditionally, and tells him any chance she gets to his face and in public horribly, and be angry all the time. He has no reason to be angry at her anymore. And to be honest he already started softening towards her way before she fell for him, during marriage ritual episodes. Let's see
He knows she didn't try to kill his dad
He knows she genuinely believed in tejawat
He knows she really doesn't know mala is his mom, it's not her fault she left him and played mommy with someone else. Paro lost her parents at a younger age than rudra, and if she considers his mom as a mom, what's her fault that some random stranger was nice to her.
He knows she really loves him
He knows she didn't cost him his job, he knows she got his job back for him.

And the big thing he feels for her. So it's natural now he acts the way he does. For me to be honest I would have felt that his anger is forced after all this nothing justifies for him to act mean with her

Bang on post! Rudra may have a khoobsurat-aurat-syndrome but he is a smart man, he is a Major, he should be able to think past that syndrome when judging someone's character. He can only use that syndrome as a cover for his anger for so long, it would become stretched after some time. Him mellowing down now is actually very much in character.

I believe that changes can happen overnight. It is just a matter of realization.
In fact most of the serials where the male protagonist refuses to believe the blatant truth because of prejudices against the female protagonist are actually unreasonable because then they actually make the male protagonist look dumb.
Here Rudra is a smart army officer and he is behaving like one. He has his prejudices but he is smart enough to realize that these r proving to be wrong in Paro's case. He saw how she bore the pain in her burnt wrist to save him. He saw how she supported him and truly wanted him to get back his job. How can he act blind when he has so much evidence of her genuineness. He is prejudiced but not stupid.
As far as Paro is concerned...I think she is just acting like a normal girl. She did not hold any grudges against Rudra for the things that he did to her because she knew that he was blinded by prejudice and she could not blame him for thinking that she tried to burn his father as it was Sunehri who had claimed to have seen her doing that. She knew that anyone would hold her responsible in such circumstances. Initially Rudra did not even want to take revenge...he wanted her to go away...anyone would...but when she refused to leave he got frustrated and when he was suspended he behaved irrationally and married her forcibly.
She knew that BSD meant everything to him so she understood his pain and did not hold grudges but when he tricked her into believing that she misbehaved under the influence of alchohol she was naturally angry. It was no prejudice or anger it was just a joke in bad taste...I say bad taste because no matter how cute Rudy boy looked(while joking) if we think from PAro's perspective it was cruel. Poor girl had been on the edge since last few days so that she could help major sa get back his job and then major sa tells her that she misbehaved in the party of his senior, now what do you think she would feel like. She would feel that all her efforts were wasted and she ended up spoiling things for the man she loved, again. Can you imagine how she would have felt? And then she got a shock that major sa was joking all along. Naturally she was angry. As far as making him say sorry is concerned, after experiencing so much of rejection the girl finally saw a glimpse of hope. Rudra joked with her. That means he has accepted her somewhere...she knew that her silence was affecting him...naturally she wanted to savour the little power she had got over him...she would have wanted to know how much she meant to him and how far he was ready to go for her forgiveness...she would have wanted him to do something he had never done for others like apologize and buy bangles...It was not anger or holding grudge...she was just testing the extent to which he was ready to go for her. In other words she was just testing whether there was a chance that he was falling for her 😉
