This is my prediction. Maithili is already suspicious about Mohini's antics.
There has been many clues given for this. Firstly when she asked Mohini about keeping a puja for PaRud, she vehemently disagreed and seemed so angry at the mere thought of it. Then she herself asks Maithili to prepare for the puja. Maithili knows that Mohini was making the ladoos and when she stepped into the kitchen she heard Mohini yelling at Sumer to not eat the ladoos and told her to throw it in the bin. As per the spoilers, we know that Rudra is going to eat them and get poisoned so I'm sure Maithili will link everything along with the fire incidents and come to know that both were done by Mohini.
I'd like to see how Mohini covers this one up.
