and yest while he accused her of being stubborn or having a kingsize ego, it showed , his own ego that is hurting due to her refusal to forgive him... the fact that remains here, Jalal doesn't understand love... else he would have understood , Jo has forgiven him long back... and instead of asking for forgiveness, he would have tried to win back her trust, and more than that he would have tried to reinstate her trust in him, that he will protect her trust in him in future not to hurt her anytime...but all he wants is just to hear the words from her, that she has forgiven him and that she is ready to move on with life... let her say those words, he will be happy thinking he has won her back... and then let there be another MU, Jalal will be back again in full hurt and insult Jo once again mode...

Sorry, but yes, now i seriously doubt, if he really loves her...if he let his ego come btw them, then he can never really love her....i feel, he is in fact in love with the idea that he loves her... that is something new for him.. everybody saying that he loves her, and he is just excited by that...the feeling he has for her is still his desire ...coz still she is out of his reach... and let's accept it... may be some one will say, who is to stop him if he decides to force her...then the reply is him being the shehenshah is the main thing that will put a questionmark on him coz if he forces himself on Jo , she will rather kill herself next moment, and that will be a big shame on Shehenshah... Jalal knows it and that's why he is still waiting for her to surrender willingly... and now after so many of his efforts to find her and seek her forgiveness, when he finds she doesn't say the words , he wants to hear, then he is hurt, coz his ego is hurt... and a joke, he blames her for showing attitude...

i know many ppl have issues with Jo's attitude... but infact that's the only thing , the poor girl has now with her, as her own...else she has lost everything even without her knowing it... let them say they do it for her better future, but Jo knows now that she has lost her maayka forever...let there be a point to choose, her parents will put Jalal before her... In Agra, let HB and Salima be her true supporters, but she knows, if comes to choice btw them, Jalal will choose MA and Ruku over HB and Salima, and so there is always a chance for him to get carried away by their instigation, which will lead to one more MU, more insults and more heartbreaks for Jo...

after that Dhakka track, Jalal left no chance to insult her, even he used Ben for that... what was her mistake? that she was not ready for him? that he can't read her letter himself, that he needed someone like MA to read Jo's letter , and that he trusts MA blindly? r all these Jo's faults? and that dhakka was not erased from his mind even after she drank poison of the woman, who was used to humiliate her all the time...and still he has it to say he loves her??? what kind of love is this? that this so called love of his will give him infinite rights to commit mistake and saying that he loves her he will just apologize and she should forgive immediately? Did he ever think her as a living human, with all natural feelings, a young woman with soft heart, a proud princess with certain dreams? or just coz he is Shehenshah, it gives him every right to crush everything in her? her dreams, her wishes, her pride, her attitude, and most her heart?

and if that dhakka is still there in his mind after damn 4 months , then is he right to expect she should forget everything just in few days? and after Ben track , she forgave him next moment, rather she forgave him even before he apologizes to her, so that means he has got every right to take her for granted and get ready to blame her and hurt her again , and apologize and seek her forgiveness next minute of being proved wrong?

i agree, Jo is wrong this time that she hide a very big thing from him even when he asked her many times... and Jalal not knowing Sujamal, it was a very big thing for him, but then Jo never knew that Jalal knows her meetings with sujamal, and he thinks differently abt it... no i m not defending her, she was definitely wrong... but not so wrong, that he used those fatal words for her characters... in that 10 min speech of him he killed her 10000 times, when he blamed her for saving him from Ben so that she could take revenge by cheating him... he nullified her sacrifice and with that her value in his life in just one sentence... it will now take time to recover...

i m not blaming Jalal for entire thing, but if Jo is to blame then Jalal too shares the place with her... only difference btw them is Jalal cut her from him in one second, but even after all these things, after so many tortures from him, Jo never did that... except for getting physically close to him, she did everything a wife should do... she took care of all relationships in her life, even though she got hatred from some of them without any reason...

and still , this time she has forgiven him... else, when she saw him first time in ashram, she knew it was him, she knew he was hurt, and neither him nor anybody knew her there...and had she not cared for him, what was to stop her from leaving the ashram in the night itself without any trace?

i think, even though she has forgiven him , she is still holding up her so called attitude, her pride, just for him to say he won't doubt her in future... coz i don't remember him saying those words to her since they met... she only needs his trust to show him her love... she fears that he might again break her heart , let there be another MU btw them, coz she is no more sure, he trusts her... and so she is showing that false attitude of hers... and naturally, if he leaves her without saying that he will trust her, then may be she won't be able to trust him back... i feel she fears that he has that power over her to hurt her everytime and still seek her forgiveness , coz she knows her love for him is her biggest weakness, that gives him that power to hurt her... and so she keeps holding back, keeps hurting him and same time hurting herself too...

she may go back with him, coz her parents r always there to blackmail her, but if she goes just like that, Jalal will lose the real Jo he has come to love (or so he thinks)... the Jo that will go with him , might be a broken, Jo who has lost her own self esteem , her confidence, her ability to trust... will he ever want that?

Diksha, you know something, different people have different ways of expressing themselves. I am reading in many posts that Jalal is only saying sorry but not using the Trust word. That Jodha has forgiven him but wants to hear the Trust word from him.

I am not favoring Jalal or being insensitive to Jo. When I made the Jo's trust broken thread, that was one of the earliest threads on this issue and there was a lot of controversy too. 😆

Right now, I want to say one thing only. Jalal has absolutely no knowledge of making and maintaining relationships. He was taught everything a king should know but not this. HB is a weak, ineffectual mother, who may or may not have tried. SB is respectful but maintains her distance and speaks only when spoken too. MA and Ruq maintain their relations with Jalal because of their own selfish reasons, not because he tries to keep them happy. The rest are too scared of his being a king to say anything to his face, no matter how he behaves. In fact, he has been taught all the wrong things - not trusting anyone (without proof), being arrogant, controlling and manipulating people around him, thinking only of extending his empire, feeling proud of being heartless and so on.

Let's face it - he's not a normal man. He was raised to be an arrogant tyrant. That was how he was when the serial began. Look at him now. Do you honestly believe the early Jalal would have cared if Jodha had left him, even if he had got proof that she was innocent? His ego would have been so hurt that he would have refused to even see her face.

In one year, there has been a tremendous change in him, in spite of people trying to stop this change. At least now he knows he is not heartless, that he needs love and wants to love, that he wants someone who will loyal only to him as a person...I have no doubt at all that he loves Jodha. Or he would not be trudging all over the countryside for her.

Yes, he has made mistakes in the past and not really learnt his lessons. But does this mean he will never learn those lessons? Or that Jodha will not go to him till he learns those lessons? How is he to learn those lessons? Who will teach him? Experience alone is a very slow teacher. We also need a mentor in our life who constantly supports us, encourages us, holds us when we falter, guides us, motivates us to go on...Though many people may disagree, Jodha has her parents to guide her and teach her the right values. But Jalal has no one. He doesn't even have one person with whom he can discuss his relationship with Jodha openly and get the right advice. HB is there but he seems uncomfortable talking about Jodha with her.

So who will tell him what Jodha wants to hear right now? Only Jodha can tell him this. If she steps out of her own hurt for a moment and thinks why Jalal is not saying what she wants to hear, she will know that though he may be worldly wise, he is a poor student when it comes to mending relationships. Look at the way he is with even close family like HB, SB and BB. He is awkward around them, he doesn't know how to talk to them about personal issues, ...She has seen him at close quarters and is intelligent enough to understand this.

She has to take the initiative in mending the relationship - she has to initiate a talk and tell him what really hurt her that Night and all the previous days in Agra, why she is so reluctant to return to Agra, what she expects from him to be able to renew her relationship with him...She has to state loud and clear that unless he gives his zubaan that he will never doubt her again, she cannot accept his apology. Some may well ask, why does she have to say all this...isn't this obvious to him?

Well, clearly it isn't obvious to him yet because if it had been, he would have said so by now. I mean if he can go on saying sorry, he can also say he trusts her without any compunction. But he is not saying so yet. That means it has not struck him yet that this is what she wants to hear. This is a very classic case of miscommunication. 2 people have different expectations from each other but fail to state those expectations clearly and then end up blaming the other for not understanding them. I can tell you from my experience that what seems obvious to me does not even strike my husband and vice versa. And we end up arguing simply because we don't know what the other person wants from us. And we are not willing to ask or even listen.

Right now both Jodha and Jalal are talking at cross purposes. They are getting increasingly frustrated with the other for not understanding them. They are terming the other's inability to understand them as zid or guroor, because that is what they are familiar with in their relationship. But it is neither zid nor guroor. Jalal is too dumb to progress further on his own to mend fences. Jodha who has had better experience in terms of maintaining relationships (look at the ease with which she mends her relations with her parents, with Sukanya, with Sujamal...) has to take the lead and help him.

Let's not even get into doubting their love or even their mutual trust and respect. Yes, truly speaking they don't even lack trust. If they did, the relationship would have died that Night and neither would have stopped to look back and cry. The only hurdle is telling each other this.

It remains to be seen when and how they do this. In this hopeless situation, the truth that they are immortal lovers gives me hope that somehow they will cross this hurdle and get together. And anyway, this whole situation has been fabricated by the CVs. In reality they never separated like this. So the whole thing is in the hands of the CVs - how they again unite these 2 lovers. 😊

I am sorry if I offended you or any fan base here. But I don't want to hang Jalal just to highlight the pain of Jodha. He may go back to Agra alone, but he will not be a happy man. He will be an empty shell too just like Jodha.

Hi Diksha, you are certainly one of the best lawyers on Jodha's defense team...You understand her mind and explain the reasons behind her actions very well. Her POVs are written very effectively and with a lot of sincerity. Like most people, I too don't enjoy reading posts by fanatic supporters of either Jodha or Jalal who bash the other character to prove their point...even if they put across some valid points, I lose interst as soon as I read something mean or childish written for the other character and thus the valid point becomes a waste of an effort by the writer as far as I am concerned. How can we love one and not the other? I understand that it is impossible not to have a slight bias...being absolutely neutral is a very difficult task with all the MUings going on between the couple...I have been on the forum long enough to be familiar with some writers and know in advance If I will be reading Jodha's or Jalal's POV in the post... Personally I enjoy reading both...but painting one as God and other as a monster immediately tells me that i will not get much out of this post and thus I move on to the next one...Yours posts are differnet...You do such a good job of defending Jodha...but I never see you get mean towards Jalal...you highlight his mistakes in the most dignified and mature manner...so for readers like me who want to see an example healthy criticism...should read your posts. Please keep writing. Awesome 👏.

thanks Cleo... i can never really bash Jalal... if ever i say anything against him, it's just in the heat of the moment, that my fav Jalal is not behaving like i want him to, that he is still continuing his mistakes, knowing very well that finally he will be proved wrong... i just love him, may be even more than Jo... no don't get surprised... but it's truth..

and abt Jo, then ya, i like her, and understand her and support... and no matter what, i ll always support her.. coz for me she represents many woman , not just of her era but even in today's society... though the character is fictional, still CVs can create fiction, only when they come across the truth somewhere... just pure imagination can never bring out such strong fiction.. and so for me Jo is perfect just as she is...and i m always with her

^ So true Diksha... You almost echo my views most of the time.
I love Jalal more than Jo. And I have huge expectations from that 20 something!...
Don't worry, He'll fulfill them all...just wait and watch. And yes, to me nothing less than a Jo would do for him. It takes a strong man to appreciate a strong woman!
