A very useful and must read article. Everyone who reads it should thank you warmly for sharing it with her.

I especially liked the one about getting a stranglehold on the neck of the auto driver and the other one of ostentatiously calling a friend with all the info about the auto and the driver. They are fail safe precautions.

A couple more: Do not open the door of your apartment without checking as to the identity of the person ringing the bell. Even if he seems innocuous, if he is a stranger, keep the door on the chain while you talk to him.

If you are working late in the office, make sure that the security staff is on duty. If there is no one there, just leave. Do not linger in an empty office.
