Sonya i will watch that video once i get out of office (will take a few hrs) and will comment on that response once i do ok. cz otherwise i will not be able to give a constructive answer to u.

EHM - Ek Hasaromein Meri Behena Hai - the 8.30 pm show that came on SP just after IPK. I loved and watched both shows..

As for Samrat Gunjan - their only boldness was that the two college students were not married, they had fought and that day they were making up and it happened.. as they were best friends. and they showed premarital sex - with a marriage not even in the horizon... Also 1fact to be noted the said 2 actors were in a Real life relationship at the time. We cannot put away these facts.
Plus - if Zindagi do palki moment is the level u mention I am all for it! It was so so tastefully done! Just beautiful and sweet it was not intense n much sexual somehow.. more divine and sacred kind.. i would not have an issue watching it with my younger cousins..
Plus - Star One was a youth channel - which would mean that the target audience would increase ten fold if the scene is hotter. But Colors being a main GEC might actually push away family audience from the show if too much is shown.

So again will have to check that video of urs n reply

I watched BALH intimate scene - and honestly I don't want it for this show.sorry
PS: it was tastefully done and i really really like Ram Kapoor. and like Sakshi too. So this has got nothing to do with actors. I don't wanna watch that level in an Indian show.

I dislike new hindi films for the same reason... not staying within the Asian culture. I anyday prefer the sedate 90s and early 2000s movies..
probably a reason as to why i haven't watched more than 5-6 bw films in the past 5 yrs or so..

Thanks for spelling out my purpose behind making this post.

Oh yes, TP and RR are quite different for the reasons u have mentioned.

And I completely agree that it is entirely on the makers to decide the end product. If u think carefully and work hard, you can come up with something beautiful regardless of the constraints.

Yes Sonya, I am. We interacted in Sanaya AT many times too 😃

And I just want to point out, the thing you said about Sanaya being an intelligent women for not letting go off TV, is so true 😆 That's what I always think too. Tomorrow, like you said, if she's offered a three film contract with YRF, she won't tell them that I am not interested in Bollywood or reject them due to intimate scenes LOL She just knows how hard it is to make a place for oneself in Bollywood and once you're down, either it takes you ages to bounce back or you never do. But in TV, her stature will remain established. She's lucky that shows like IPK and MJHT happened to her, especially the former, which gave her so much recognition. She's actually one of the top actresses of Television, so why would she let that go!? She's a clever girl. And yea, I don't think she would have a problem with a lip-lock scene.

Oyster dear...nice post...and VALID point...
If the TP luv scene on page 1 can be done on Life OK then RR can also incorporate equally HOTTT sequence on COLORS...

It wud burn our screens and make us go crazzzyyy seeing Rudra & Paro luving each other like that......fingers crossed...maybe v will get it some time in the show...😳

Very true ... we love our parud and we know they have the sizzle and professionalism needed to take the aesthetics of RR to the next level. Yesterdays kiss being a prime example - it was poetic in its translation.
I just saw the TP video (ty for the link)- it was very sensuous n classy and on the same lines passion with sensuousness is what I would love to see for RR.

But isn't that different. I mean, Laila is NOT the lead, Paro is. Why would audience want to see the lead actor making out with a supporting character!? We'd obviously want it to be with the lead actress. No wonder it didn't get TRPs, that was a stupid move tbh.

I don't agree that audience is not ready for it. It's the makers who play it too safe. Come on, today's generation knows it all and likes to watch it too, it's the truth. The makers just need to try and show something different and promote it well to catch audience's attention. Tumhaari Paakhi makers promoted the scene alooot through their promos and it definitely worked in their favour.

Exactly! I didn't sign up for love story bet ML and side heroine. Even I had difficulty digesting Ru-La scenes though chemistry was evident there too. But my own expectations and bias didnt let me enjoy them.
I would like to watch romance bet ML and FL.

And Yes TP gave a lot of promos about the intimate scene which I caught when RR had ads in between.
