I feel like it's foreshadowing, rudra keeping her earring, the paper in the suit case. Paro might be taken. And rudra will have the earring, the paper from the suit case and a whole lot of regret.

Why does Rudra need to go back to his angry avatar? This is a love story, Rudra is supposed to change under Paro's influence...so him going back to square one won't make sense. Obviously another MU will happen, this is an Indian soap after all, but I hope the cvs don't ruin Rudra's character by making him become angry and then sweet and then angry again and then sweet again, over and over again, all for their own convenience.
