Some Ramblings: Life is about second chances

Director Waseem is showing 2 stories in parallel.. of Shlok & Jyothi. Can one not get second chance in life? Life is about second chances. There is ray of hope at the other end of tunnel for both of them now. For the one person who hated love because of past shadows, betrayals and the for the other who has been deprived of any love.

Shlok: Shlok got a second chance in his life in the form of Astha, the same very person whom he betrayed in the name of love. Her forgiving, endearing, fun-loving, free-spirited persona won his heart. He even started making some compromises due to his feelings. Shlok needs somebody tenacious enough like Astha due to his past insecurities. Due to her constant reassurance of her undying love, he shed all his inhibitions.He started to smile, enjoy life ; she broke off the walls that he had built around his heart.

Does Shlok really deserve Astha's love? After all he had inflicted all that pain to her...her kind-hearted nature had forgiven him. Yesterday he just capitulated to her and acting according to her wishes. The person who said "Dil ki baat shabdon ka izhaar karna zurrori nahi hota hein" and a person who is an introvert , went onto the road and told those magical three words which she was hell-bent to listen to.

Is he really the same Shlok who at one point made a mockery of her during divorce hearing that she wants to listen to him say ILU standing in the middle of the road!! And he did it exactly like that. He compromised his belief system that love need not be expressed openly and that actions speak louder than words. But he had to give in to his his dear wifey whims. Aastha even though unconditionally in love with him and has forgiven him for his emotional abuse has started to have expectations from this relationship.She is a person who at one point had lost her love due to his mistrust,ego and insecurities has started to love him as he is. Astha wanted to see him as that romantic hero of her dreams, that image that he presented himself prior to marriage.So, he compromised himself to present himself to her like that. It is his insecurity that he will also lose Astha and as she is his second chance in life, he doesn't want to lose this opportunity. He even apologized to her by going down on the knees and tied the same dhaga which he had broken on SR. So, has he turned a new leaf? He said "Mein woh pehle wala Shlok ban gaya hoon...aur vada karta hoon tumhe kabhi nahi rulavoonga" His ego, insecurities, power control might kick in and the baba loyalty factor is still there. Today they showed metaphorically they both eating an apple just like Adam and Eve, So is NA is Satan which will be the poisonous for this relationship? Also the Jyothi issue is simmering down slowly which can engulf this relationship anytime soon.

So here Astha has forgiven the past and started to live in present and she is giving it her fullest to this love of her. Shlok has seized the opportunity to seal his love as doesn't want to lose this love of Astha and this is his second chance for him in love.

Jyothi: Jyothi has always been deprived of the love she deserves and she is getting it from Kirlosker's family. The only reason for her suffering is she is born as a daughter of Agnihotri family. She never got to her smallest of her wishes fulfilled as she is a girl. She is married to Abhay who is just interested only in her money. Sid seems to be getting emotionally attached to her and both were talking with their eyes now just like 2 people in love . Sid and Jyothi have a candle light dinner and he says "Jawo tum ab iss kaid se azad hui" ...really such a beautiful cage it is ..that she really wants to happily be live in, she was in a cage before with Abhay but not anymore.

Now that Sid is showing interest in her will she grab this opportunity to move ahead in her life or will she take a step backward? That is to be seen!

The third sibling is also in for a change as the accident will help varad-sojal to become closer. Today varad was offering his unconditional support to sojal as were ashlok.

Yes Maya credit goes to Astha but still there is that possesiveness in him for Astha which will boost his ego and it can kick anytime , also the loyalty for Baba..Baba still holds a higher place for him even though Astha made a place in his heart.
