However I am in luck today and up late so yay!

I love how you manage to grasp the deeper meaning of the relationship being played out on the screen through the form of dance. Yes, the physical relationship and awareness is the first thing that comes to mind but beyond it is the connection that two people who are in sync and connected to each other at a sublime level.

His awareness of her doubts and hesitancy was followed not by asking her to trust herself but to trust in him. He knows and so does she that her trust and faith in him is absolute. And if she places herself in his care then nothing, not even dancing in public, will be something beyond her. He will protect her dignity, guide her gently and sweep her off her feet...literally.

And she knows that she can trust his judgement. Even if she falters or questions, if he says that something is possible then it is. So putting aside her fears, she follows his lead. And even as she becomes increasingly aware of his barely reigned passion, she skitters but doesn't turn away. Because she is safe in his embrace. She may not be carried away by the passion by which he is but she is slowly becoming aware. Slowly blooming and he knows it and isn't in any rush to push her beyond her comfort zone.

The gentle yet possessive hold that he has on her and her attention lets her and everyone watching know that she is his. He brings her close and twirls her away only to bring her closer still. The temporary distance is quickly reduced with a passionate tug. Clasped hands leading to a closeness almost breathtaking in intensity. Just like their interactions and relationship off the dance floor...

He may lift her high but he will never let her fall. Gently bringing her down to rest on his feet from where she can stand and see the world.
