Analysis 5/14: Lost Once, loose twice?

Who basked in the delight of today's episode? Who was terribly upset by the on-goings in the episode? Who was shaken out of their wits at today's episode? Who expected today's episode to unveil like this?

Well, to me it was a mix of everything, it was flavored with spice, sweetness and bitterness.

Scene of the day # 1: What looked like a storage room, locked for years, curtained in sheer darkness and blankets of dust is where a rockstar safe-keeps his majorly important files. Unbelievable? Well, that's fiction for you. Anyways, moving onto the scene, I'm talking about the scene where Robbie sends Kasturi down to the basement to get some files for him. What comes next is as haunting, as intense, as heated as none other scene shown on Kasturi yet. The haunting way Robbie enters into the basement and Kasturi shivering in the fear of a stranger's presence, was one intensely packaged scene. Robbie looming in the shadows so scarily not only scared the living daylights out of Kasturi but me as well. In fact, for a second I doubted the guy was even Robbie, but then the lights shone upon him, and his face danced beneath the playing lights to my shock. To add to the intense scene, the lights kept slinging round and round, like a pendulum. So, Robbie is more hard-heated and arrogant than we thought he was, well keeping his egoistic nature and perspective, such behavior was kind of expected of him. Robbie scared me for a second when he kept on shoving Kastui's against walls, but then he equally shocked me with his awkward/angry expression of telling her he won't do anything to her. Just that part of the scene indicated, that no matter how much bitterness he stows for Kasturi in his heart, or even if it was somebody else, he wouldn't physically harm them. The chemistry between Robbie and Kasturi creeped up at the end of the scene and thus I do believe they share some vibes and make a lovely pair together. What do you guys think of them as a couple, chemistry and character wise?

My nerves tightened, as I expected another Kkutumb or KTH type of scene,when the entire staff nosily grazed them for such a long time, but boy was overjoyed when Ronak came to the rescue and saved Kasturi from being entirely humiliated by everyone. Such a gem of a friend, who although loves his best buddy, won't allow him to cross the wrong path. However, I wonder what Robbie is upto now, with sending the dress and all. I guess he expects, Kasturi's family to prohibit her from working there anymore, after that incident, but I think otherwise. I have a half mind that either Ronak or Devika will reach there, and explain things out. And Robbie's plan will burn before it's ignited too much. What do you guys think, will Robbie succeed or will Ronak turn out to be the golden saviour once again? If Robbie looses again, Shruti your post will come into use now, Robbie will have to change his name won't he?😆

Scene of the day # 2:

It's got to be the scene, where Alka chachi creates an uproar when Kasturi politely gives her the $30, 000 cheque. Although, the actress playing Alka chachi played out an excellent performance, her character nevertheless led me to utter annoyance and irritation. (Guess she is doing a good job isn't she?) I wish somebody in the family would point out her loop holes or her contradictions, it would set her right. Or pehaps, Pooja would be the one to combat her rightly. Although negative, I hope Pooja sets her right. Kasturi, I love this girl even more, thought she would stand there, gulping in all the accusations and letting herself fall low without a say, but NO, she stood up and told Alka exactly what her truthful intentions were, love how she isn't afraid to say what comprises in her heart, cause it's not as if she has a sin in her heart. She combatted her allegations/accusations in such a polite way, that it was incredible. The balance of tolerance and truthfulness in her character makes a nice blend, hopefully they will not ruin her character in the future.

Point to note:

So, Alka chachi yelled to the point where her lungs soared and words failed to express her exploding agony and aggravation all because Kasturi gave her a $30 000 cheque? Seriously, does no one, not even dada ji question why she is so AGGRAVTED by the fact that Kasturi gave her the money? Just a few days, she dumped a pile of insults at Kasturi's parents on her family like how she boasted of her part of the family pays 3/4 of the money needed for the household expenditures, and if I am not mistaken she even went to mention, that even Kasturi is earning so, they shouldn't have a problem in paying atleast how much they usually give, so what is the ROAR about? I'm surprised, dada ji only spoke to shut her up, than remind her of her own words because I got the impression that he was fair and would tell her off for her non-sensical words and bitter fried accusations.

As for the real reason her heart was boiling in a furious rage, don't we all know that? It wasn't that she was upset Kasturi gave her the money in advance or anything, but the mere thought living in her heart that if Kasturi pays up their share, then they wouldn't be able to sell the store and get more money by selling off the store.(How the store is worth so much, does anyone have any idea? As I am totally clueless and confused,hence will name this as a blooper) But seriously, the family is supposed to be conservative, it applies to all, but Alka. And I wonder why no one says much to her? Is there a secret or reason behind that?

as we all know the tom and jerry chase has started as usual 😆

robbie is wicked but as u said even though he hates the people he never dare to hurt them pysically.....ya u r rite.....he wont take advantage on his own on girls .....so kasturi is spared for now.....his main motive is he wants kasturi out of the job.......and karan patel as robbie acted so well ...he was so evil in the scene....

kasturi she is sweet and the way she confronted chachi by telling what she thinks of her is very nice and she acted very well.....and alka chachi omg she is getting to my nerves and she is indirectly making way for robbie and kasturi marriage(i think so).

relly kasturi and robbie chemistry is very nice and like them to watch together than kasturi with girish....

ronak the saviour of kasturi i like him to watch as best friend of kasturi but not like love interest......and i dont even like him to see devoloping feelings for kasturi.....

nikil omg what to say he will add fuel to the sparks.....he will definetly be responsible for breakup of kasturi and robbie relation in future.....he will be the main hurdle in their relation by creating misunderstandings between them ....but a long way to go.....

devika i think she will be the saviour of kasturi as she want kasturi to work for robbie so that robbie can be changed....

and last if robbie wins the challenge then how will the story move on....as viewers like to see tom and jerry chase of robbie and kasturi but not girish and kasturi....so if robbie successfully removes kasturi from the job then how will viwers watch the show.....and main leads not sharing the scenes is out of question....so i am sure robbie is going to loose the game and shruti thread will be quite usefull for robbie to pick up other name for him.....

if he looses he devolops much hatrate and he will see to it that kasturi and girish engagement will end as he want to teach kasturi a lesson...so many points...

so lets wait and watch .....

Ok here is my take on 2day's episode.

Alka accusing Kasturi-Alka pointing fingers at Kasturi's just bcoz she gave her 30,000 rupess for household expenditures. Kasturi gave her a fab ans thereby shutting her up & 2 Alka's shock even Bauji supported Kasturi.

Robbie humilating Kasturi-We expected an egoistic man like Robbie 2 do such a thing, i thought he wil porove d staff ppl tht she was trying 2 getr close 2 him while he was no interested but nothing like tht happened infact he did all this just scared her tht 2 just bcoz he wanted her 2 leave d job. He had a point when he said when she steps out of d door no1 though nothing happened b/w them, no1 will believe her thanks to his reputation.

Outside d cabin staff ppl pass nasty comments on Kasturi's character. She is humiliated but it makes no diff 2 Arrogant Rockstar.

Ronak 2 Kasturi's rescue-This was somewhere expected tht either Ronak or Devika will come 2 Kasturi's rescue but this was in a totally diff way but d ? tht runs in my mins is-Was there 2 ways 2 basement, how did Ronak came 2 knw abt Robie'd plan? but whatever happens happens 4 good. Ronak was just a sweetheart in 2day's episode.

Ronak convincing Kasturi-Another fab scene wherein he says 2 her tht he belives tht she is a girl who has strong determination & d backgroiund 2 which she belongs they have been taught 2 fight till d end & he expects same 4m her.

Kasturi shocking Robbie-Robbie is happy tht Kasturi has left d job & he won but 2 his shock she comes back wid a anger in her tone a completely diff Kasturi whom we saw crying at d basement begging Robbie.

Robbie's plan-Looks like Robbie shares his things out wid her BIL aka Nikhil, didn't he get anybody else, taking advice 4m Nikhil who himself needs advice 😡 As Nikhil stars speaking abt Kasturi's family being conservative, Robbie gets a plan.

The gift tension-Robbie sending gift 2 Kasturi's house was not tht shcoking but enevr thought he wud write 2 my darling love & moreover when d gift was open it had a short dres i thought he wud have send some precious diamond set or something like tht. Alka got a reason 2 do a drama & she used d situation 2 her fulest but my ? is was she wrong anybody in her place afrer cing d gift & reading d note wud have thought d same.

Scene of the day: was def when Robbie was in the basement with Kasturi. His character is growing on me. As you said...even tho he is at the height of arrogance he wouldn't intentionally do anything too heinous. This goes to show that hes not completely a negative character and sooner or later will turn to the good side. Karan's acting skills are also improved much from the first episode. I like the way Robbie had a naughty smile on his face when he was saying that "no one knows the real reason why i am in the office so early". I think Karan is getting into the skin of the character there. However, I see Robbie as more of a prankster than as someone whose intentions are evil.

I have great hope for the Robbie-Kasturi jodi. Altho its interesting that Robbie doesn't find Kasturi attractive at all. I would love to see Robbie eat his words when he falls for Kasturi someday. 😆

I think Ronak looks a lot like Rahul Khanna and i like Rahul. So far thats the only part i like about the guy playing Ronak. I know Ronak is a great friend and always comes as a saviour to Kasturi but i believe thats his part in the show at least for now. Cause someone needs to counterplay the antagonists of the show. We haven't seen what his character is essentially like cause we have only seen him coming to Kasturi's rescue be it from Nikhil or Robbie. I don't wanna judge him this early cause as is evident Girish also started out as the perfect guy. I am still upset that they ruined Girish's character by that one scene where he talks about money. 😕

Now for chachi. She needs to be on meds cause the High BP is gonna kill her soon (if her greed doesn't do it sooner 😆 ). I understand that she is angry cause Kasturi got the money and now she won't be able to sell the store. But what is totally beyond me is that she is the only woman in the Chawla khandan that is allowed to talk like that. I mean does Dadaji have a bias against Kasturi's mom cause from what i remember he did not let her open her mouth even to say her opinion in the most softest of voices and here is the Chachi insulting Kasturi in the most derogatory manner and screaming her lungs out and all he did was say shutup...and that too after Kasturi made her stand clear (very brilliantly acting by Shubangi). I am totally hating Dadaji now. 🤢His characterization is sketchy. He is supposed to be an MC but he only shows that side of his with Kasturi and her mom. I wonder y 😕 😕

Scene Stealer: KASTURI. I loved the way Kasturi told off her aunt when she insulted her. I think that was the most brilliant scene of hers till now. I loved Kasturi for saying that "with so much expectations and love even a stone has to be a God". Those dialogues were really good...and that "the door of her house walks with her wherever she goes" the writer gets credit for that and Shubhangi gets credit for delivering a great perfomance. 👏 She needs more such scenes.

my two best scenes of this epi..the basement one and kasturi/alka scene...

the basement scene and that was expected he will do something to throw kasturi out of the job..first time he lost and this time his plan was really wicked..he did well to scare her and the arrogance and humiliation were on top but kasturi's angel in disguise was there as ronak...such a swetheart saved her and with so much ease without yelling put robbie in his place too...again one plan of robbie backfires ...poor guy..

alka chachi that woman does have a problem..she did a big uproar in the house for the expense money and when she received it she creates a big scene and kasturi becomes her punching bag..loved the way kasturi puts her in her place though politely....greedy woman and now with the last scene yelling on top of her lungs and thats iritating when she calls everyone in the hall...i think the day kasturi marries robbie uski tho bolti baand hojayegi...

well nikhil is there to play the evil to help robbie..i have this feeling this time too robbie will lose and the saviour once again will be ronak the guardian angel of kasturi...how he will save her cant wait to watch..

next i think robbie losing once again wont digest it and this time he will play more evil and his target will be girish and we know how money minded he is..robbie giving him money and the last mins he runs on his wedding day..i guess you already know wat will happen next devika will give justice to kasturi ...

best scene robbie /kasturi basement scene..both were good in their roles..one thing for sure the chemistry is there and in the future they will make a perfect jodi...

kasturi/alka scene and kasturi was just great in that scene..

ronak is such a sweetheart and guardian angel of kasturi..

miss devika's scene in this epi ...

i'm just loving this show and karan and shubhanghi are getting very well in their characters...

I agree on one statement......Kasturi is not attractive

I think she needs a good make up person....... who willl bring out the beauty out of her...she looks to me very average looking

On the other hand...Mr.Patel....is a good looking person😛....I think Ekta intentionally is showing her so....I think the day Bobby😆(Robby/sobby)feels attracted o her...we will get to see her beautiful features....But it's always nice to see an aggressive man and a soft girl come together👏

You are right Vasantha. I don't like Kasturi's makeup either. but they do it intentionally because they gotta make Kasturi look non-attractive. What i hate most is her eye makeup it makes her eyes look droopy...especially when shes cryin. But i think shes a beautiful girl..sans the makeup.

Sum: Agree the Tom and Jerry chase has begun, boy is it going to be to fun to watch. Definitely, since Robbie will loose his next target on the agenda is most probably Girish and to break off Girish's and Kasturi's engagement.

Shruti: I was surprised too, just as I thought Kasturi's troubles will rest for a day the parcel arrived bringing along another storm. Hmm..but you know what, it's really strange to see Mr. Rockstar send such a simple gift..If he had to send something, he couldn't sent some expensive silk gown/dress or something, wouldn't that have had a more desired effect for him? But you know I agree with chachi, they do look like pieces of cloth, to me they both looked like skirts, just one was shorter..or perhaps because they were the same color and style 😆

Jinc: My thoughts exactly, loved that line too..Her dialogue writers is extremely good, as they have given her some impactful, strong dialogue...She quietened them all, with her words, yet they were said in such a polite way, that no one but Alka chachi can feel bad..

3 angels: Ronak definitely is an angel in disguise to Kasturi...Whenever she needs help, he lands up near her, their friendship may go a long road...Confused though, wasn't Pooja Nikkhil's secretary? 😕 No, wait if she was she wouldn't have hired Kasturi as his secretary...

Vasantha: I think Kasturi is pretty yet her beauty lies in her simplicity..Definitely, could make her look more glam and highlight her features better, but then it would go against her characterization. I think she looks pretty cute the way she is, especially when she has her hair in a pony..

Hmm..I agree it is interesting to see the beauty and beast type stories, well in this case, the soft, simple woman and the arrogant, egoistic man. It is a concept used and tried before, however, wonder why this concept ends up appealing..
