It's mentioned in the GoF book that with this charm the wand lets off a blast like a gun. So maybe smoke is also involved 😉.

And the charm, which Hermione used on Ron, the bird one.. Didn't she say ''Oppugno'' or something like that when she conjured it? I'm sorry if i'm wrong but I think i'm sure that she didn't say avis :O :(

@ Shivangi yeah Avis is not mentioned.. But Hermione already had a flock of birds when Ron came in ..So i guess she might've used Avis earlier to conjure it

@Linaya no need to explain the riddle if you are busy..now i looked it up at wikipedia and saw it does produce a lot of smoke..so everything fits 👍🏼
