First, a digression on a major realization I had today:Today, I found a press release by Zee TV when they first launched the show: http://www.zeetv.com/news-media/press-releases/how-the-power-of-jodhas-love-turned-a-great-warrior-into-a-benevolent-king.html. This makes it clear that this was always about Jalal's journey ... And how Jodha changed him and "softened his edges" ... It was not Jodha's journey of love and how she transformed from a Rajput princess to a Mughal Begum. It was all about the softening of Jalal and hence, I feel the story has focused more on the evolution of Jalal's love than Jodha's.sahi time pe yeh press release post kara meri jaan😉And before, I get onto more cheerful stuff, I need to get this off my chest. I am still unsure by exactly what is Jodha's majboori and vivashtha is. 😕I hope she clears it out during their confrontation..I felt disappointed when she was running away from him..she had that fikar for him but reluctant to reveal herself😕Why won't the CVs say what her majboori is?- What is Jodha's majboori that she runs to save Shehnaaz instantly when she is hit by rocks, but hesitates to save Jalal as he is tripping and falling?- What is the majboori that she hears the words that the Shehenshah told her but not the reason behind them?- What is the majboori that she can feel Jalal's pain but still not understand why he is here?- What is the majboori that she can send Jalal lep but cannot go see him?- What is the majboori that Shehnaaz can recognize that Jalal is hurt by losing love and she cannot? What is this majboori? Is she hurt by his allegations? Has she lost her trust in love? Does she not know Jalal is repenting? She even admits that I know he is going through the same fire as I am to Kanha. But, why won't the CVs ever explain what her majboori is?Jodha is very well aware why Jalal is here Divi..her rants to Kanha were the proofs of it..she even can gauge his pain..she can see him repenting like hell..today when she said, "ab aap humein vivash mat kijiye Kanha" this shows she too wants to go to him, nurse him but fighting against her heart.. I felt bad for her in this scene..but then I ask what is the need of fighting? whatever it is, just talk it out! I simply dont understand why she refrained herself to meet him?? I really hope she clears this after their face off! we all need the answers...after all Jalal sab kuch chodke uss ke liye aya hai yaha..he is the Shehenshah, aur bhi kaam hai usse...esp, abhi toh khatra hai uski jaan ko.and it pierced my heart when I found her walking off secretly whilst goons attacked him! how can u see your lover getting beaten up? she was the same lady who saved him from getting lashes during Badal-Kajri track!Because, I don't think the CVs have a credible answer. The majboori is merely that this is the CVs tactics to drag this track and show a Shehenshah on his knees in love asking for forgiveness. And, the CVs cannot say that ... Hence, the "hum vivash hai"And so, I have come to realize there is no point in holding Jodha at fault at all ... She is indeed majboor in the hand of the CVs and so my only advice is wait for this track to get over ... Then only the CVs will show Jodha completely in love like Jalal. First, they need to show Jalal's complete transformation before they can show Jodha accepting her love for him.Phew, sorry, I know I create this thread to be cheerful but I just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for bearing through that.this "vivashta" is a trick to drag it to ME...😕😆 of course Jodha is the puppet in the hands of CVs!🥱 I loved u said it..not even u, today almost all felt the same.So now that my smile is back, here is my take 5 - there were not many funny takes I could afford in today's episode to be honest:(1) Jalal the love guru: You know that Jalal has truly been transformed when he who used to say he has no heart ... Is now trying to teach others to have a heart. He spoke of the importance and value of love. But, most importantly, he understood the pain of a widow alone in the world and didn't see any wrong in someone deciding to give a widow his love. This is obviously a precursor to the reform on widow remarriage ... While the language of love was Jodha's, I think it also reflected the liberal views of Jalal and his respect for the rights of women. 👏I don't have anything really funny to react to this scene ... Except it was purely to show Jodha how transformed Jalal was in love. But, I was imagining Ruqaiyya's reaction if she were to hear that speech? Her jaw would have dropped. 😆
I loved whatever he said about "mohabbat"..dont know why Divi, I cried...😭 the way he fought for the widow, hats off!👏I could gauge the extent of pain he is going through and the huge transformation in him...😭❤️Jodha was also very happy and proud..the moment was emotional for me.Ruqu ka din bhi ayega..dont worry😛😆(2) Jalal the action hero: As always, loved to see Jalal in action fighting the villagers with a wooden stick ... He was ready to take on as many as he could and flaunted his fighting capabilities. In today's episode, Jalal also proved that he did not his audha, his shaahi libaas, or his shamsheer to command respect and get what he wanted accomplished. It occurred to me that, Rajat must have been tired of showing only his sword fighting skills ... That is why he dropped his shamsheer to wrestle with Sujamal and today took a wooden stick. He passed with flying colors, don't you think? 😉And looks like Jalal has won quite a few fans in the ashram!it was awesome!!⭐️⭐️ simple breath-taking! I was so happy when those men shouting "bhaago yahan se"😆😆 did u see Jodha then? she was a proud wife😳 the man is her husband😳ab Jalal hai hi aisa, aisa hosakta uska koi fan na bane(3) Todarmal: While I know a lot of people wished Jodha to catch and support Jalal, I do not think that would have been the right way for them to meet ... I actually had a big smile on my face when Todarmal supported Jalal and here is why:- I am glad Todarmal is back on the show with his steadiness and good sense- I think it is symbolic how Todarmal will support Jalal , especially once the scheming of MA and Adham Khan is out- He is our new Shaguni Bai: predicting that holi will bring back the colors in his life- I am glad Jalal finally has found someone he can have a man-to-man talk to which brings me to my take 5TMHPKNK🤗 I loved it!!😃 koi aur hota toh shayad gussa hoti..but Todar Mal always brings smile on my face..he has that soothing affect..before Adham's death he has to be in Agra..so here he is..he appears then, when we expect the least..I like this😊(4) Loved Jalal's reflection of how he had truly changed in love to Todarmal... Making a Shehenshah bend down and how it was making him do things he would have never imagined he would do (trust us Jalal, even I didn't believe you would do these things) While very honest, I also liked how Jalal was very dignified and did not break down in the conversation but still conveyed his pain.Looks like Jalal can read all our minds ... He explained why he wasn't really behaving like Shehenshah these days ... So be prepared guys for the future days!😆his and Todar Mal scene was very good Divi...I like the way he explained his state to him..he was dignified like u said..😊when he was talking about how much he has changed I recalled Mirza's mohabbat wala bhashan..that in love how a Shehenshah bends down before everyone and how a fakir stands tall!❤️(5) Jodha's majboori and vivashta ... Jodha/Paridhi nailed the conflicted Jodha today ... The pride when Jalal is talking about love (which she knows only she taught him), the worry when he is fighting with the villagers, the pain / majboori in front of Kanha that she wants to go to him but cannot, and the concern with which she sends the lep. If only tue CVs gave us greater insight into her majboori, it would have been more relatable but Paridhi nailed the expressions nonetheless of a conflicted Jodha.
Pari was fantastic today!!👏👏when she was ranting to Kanha, I cried😭 Pari's acting compelled me to do so.😭So, let us see what the maha-episode brings? I think the holi colors throwing will be another close miss. Jodha will try to hide (for majbooris best known to her) but Jalal will know she is around and use his teda tricks to find her.And when will Jodha learn to aim colors correctly? Thankfully, this time it was not Maham Anga but Jalal she threw colors at. 😆I am sure Jalal will do some tedhapanti😉 his voice during precap and the BG score r the proofs!😆 he is in fun mood..after all Jodha Begum ko tangg karne mein jo mazaa ata hai woh 100 jung jeet kar bhi nahi ata😉 I so want to see his tedha tactic on Jodha.. it will bring the core Jodha..hence the death prank just to bring out her original-self😉😆 she will confess for sure in fact pour her heart out😆 then he will open his eyes..ishq hai woh ehsaas in BG😳😳 Jalal rocks😆⭐️Hope you enjoyed the post ... And hope the Mahaepisode brings more smiles to our faces 😊InshaAllah😳
P.S. this time its 1 day weekend

I am back divi... u r right divi..its all about jalal..kaise bana payegi jodha jalal ko haivan se ek insaan... right now she is hurt..though she loves him..right now she is hurt and in pain coz of his accusations..she il become normal once her wounds are healed...and she is scared and inseucre kahi wo jalal ki pyar use kamzhor na bana de..right now its a fight bet her heart and brain...Why won't the CVs say what her majboori is?- What is Jodha's majboori that she runs to save Shehnaaz instantly when she is hit by rocks, but hesitates to save Jalal as he is tripping and falling?- What is the majboori that she hears the words that the Shehenshah told her but not the reason behind them?- What is the majboori that she can feel Jalal's pain but still not understand why he is here?- What is the majboori that she can send Jalal lep but cannot go see him?- What is the majboori that Shehnaaz can recognize that Jalal is hurt by losing love and she cannot? What is this majboori? she is scared to face jalal..coz she knows that she il melt like choclate icecream if she tries to meet him..she doesnt want to go back coz she has lost all her trust and hope in jalal and his love..she is scared to face another tsunami...right now she remembers only one thing...though she loves him her mind and heart registered gair mard's accusation..so it il take time ...Because, I don't think the CVs have a credible answer. The majboori is merely that this is the CVs tactics to drag this track and show a Shehenshah on his knees in love asking for forgiveness. And, the CVs cannot say that ... well said..zhor dahr thaliya...👏Phew, sorry, I know I create this thread to be cheerful but I just had to get that off my chest. kya yeh vahi jalal...kabhi no dil kehta ta...ab mohabbat ka bashan aur gyan dena shuru hogaya..sab jodha ka sangath ka asar hai..kya jo ka bashan kam ta..ab cv's jalal ko bhi bashan deneke liye mazboor kar rahe hai..nahi..asia mat kijiye..jalal ko baksha dijiye..(2) Jalal the action hero: As always, loved to see Jalal in action fighting the villagers with a wooden stick ... I am happy.. finally mera ladla agaya..i really like him...he is smart ,simple and intelligent...(4) Loved Jalal's reflection of how he had truly changed in love to Todarmal... And hope the Mahaepisode brings more smiles to our faces 😊

Divya my dear,
I always like your lucid positivity and your determined optimism, even when the grounds for it are not clearly visible to more cynical souls like myself. This post of yours is no exception.
But how many times do I have to tell you that you cannot have it both ways? Either you blame everything on the CVs, or you analyse the character. You are hedging your bets here. You do not want to say that Jodha is still ego-driven, and not yet really in love with Jalal, l for all her sudden revelation of her bahut prem for him.
For as my favourite reader of hearts, Vicki, noted the other day, in love there is no room for any ego, and today in Jodha, the ego did not lose to what she calls love. Jalal is in love, for he has no ego any more where she is concerned and he is willing to go to hell and back to get her.
But what does she do? She stands there and watches him fight, one against so many, exactly like a 1960s film heroine, the only difference being that she does not wring her hands as they used to do! 😉She does not run out to help him, as would be the instinctive reaction of any woman with the man she loves. Or even to shield and drag away the unfortunate widow.
Instead, she acts as a silently applauding audience of one, except that what she is applauding is not Jalal, but herself, her lines and her teaching that he has absorbed so well. Pretty soon, you will see Jodha Begum somehow given the credit for Akbar's attempt to permit widow remarriage as well.
OK, let us let her inertia pass, attributing it to the proprieties of those days. But she does not run out to help him even when she sees him staggering away, and instead she exclaims, as if she was Columbus discovering the New World, Shahenshah ko chot pahunchi hai. unhe aushadi ki aavashyakta hai! What on earth did she think all the khoon bhari maang came from? The local paint shop?
As for her harassing Kanha later, she seems to have forgotten all that she confessed to her antaraatma, about the role played by her stubborn silence in precipitating Jalal's furious jealousy and all that followed. Now she is one up on her cheerleader Ammijaan in leaving Jalal to shoulder all the blame for everything that happened.
This apart, while Jalal is lost to all but his need to get her back and is in an agony of despair, regret and guilt all this while, Jodha has not been shown to miss him or to think about their special moments together, except for that one scene when she weeps and prays for his well being. Even there, there is no helpless sense of loss of the kind that comes from a lost love.
It all boils down to what I have said all along: Jalal is the lover and Jodha the beloved. She will never be capable to his kind of deewaangee; she is no Laila or Juliet. I hope Jalal understands this, for otherwise he is in for a major disappointment.
All that she seems to remember is her hurt pride and her aatmasammaan, not the agony he is going through. This is not my idea of love.
Now he will fall at her feet, literally and metaphorically, and abase himself in an orgy of repentance, but she will not utter a single word of apology for all her cumulative follies that have led to this, including the endless risks he is running chasing after her across the country all by himself, or nearly so.
The part in your post with which I agree unreservedly is this one: It was not Jodha's journey of love and how she transformed from a Rajput princess to a Mughal Begum. It was all about the softening of Jalal and hence, I feel the story has focused more on the evolution of Jalal's love than Jodha's.
This process has been coming along swimmingly. It is not just the evolution of Jalal's love. It is really about the reverse of Darwinian evolution. Jalal has in fact gone backwards for a vertebrate to an invertebrate. 😉He now resembles a marshmallow left out in the sun, and he is crying enough to solve the water problems of any city in his empire.
As for Jodha's journey of love, I have not seen her go anywhere, whether towards the woman who loves Jalal or towards a Mughal begum. She is still exactly where she was, or nearly so, for she no longer hates Jalal.
How I miss the delightful, sassy, discreetly self-assertive Kajri! She was too good to be true, so no wonder she vanished like a will o' the wisp.
I am sorry to have rained on your parade, my dear, but it is always best to face uncomfortable facts. and not wrap them up in pink cotton candy. Jodha might well prove me wrong and come to love Jalal as he loves her, but that day is going to be long in coming, if at all it arrives!
Shyamala Aunty
PS: As for your major realisation, the Zee tagline was not "from a great warrior to a benevolent king". It was haivaan ko banaaya insaan. Let us not soft soap that! A more ill-founded assertion cannot be found, but still this is trotted out as if it was the Eleventh Commandment!

Pretty soon, you will see Jodha Begum somehow given the credit for Akbar's attempt to permit widow remarriage as well. That is something for which he solely deserves the credit aunty.. he's already had his sister re-married and he's married Salima Begum himself - its obvious he was a believer in this noble practice before she entered his life... 😊 the awaam disguise might have led him to proclaiming a rule...

But, one prays to the Lord to protect the king even otherwise... earnest prayers are made for the sake of ALL our loved ones... our siblings, our grandparents, our relatives... all...then, where is the 'epicness' in this if Jo is praying for his well-being and that's it!Only HE's doing the mistaking and then following it up by - the missing, the changing, the memory-recalling, the intense-worrying, the ceasless-crying, the manaaying, the passioning, the grovelling, the falling, the journeying, the dialoguing and everything else - while, she's just taking it all in! It is seeming very one-sided and in many ways not fair to Jodha's character!True, she hasn't mistaken him lately and he has... but still, with his human flaws and his efforts to correct them (becoming more and more evident) it's easier to empathize with Jalal...It's actually becoming a one-sided portrayal of a love story and we are always shown Jalal's pov and his journey...he seeks her for 'HER' - the woman, the love, the beauty and her nature. She seeks him as a friend, a general companion and a Shehenshah. Her POV are very kartavya-oriented and saintly - not the junoon/mohabbat/ishq/passion/epic love types!I really wonder why they're not showing an effective transition of Jodha's feelings...they'd started it off well-enough during Ben track (with jealousy) again we saw good glimpses of it during KajriThis Jodha doesn't seem like the same Kajri we saw... and Kajri was fresh after the Ben track where Jalal was purely to blame...In this track, both are to blame, but she's suddenly blinded herself to her own words (where she knew she was wrong too) and steeled herself to his grief (when she can clearly see what he's going through for her sake - yeah, she hasn't witnessed the journey per se, but she can see its after effects on him)? It's not making much sense to me... 😕
It all boils down to what I have said all along: Jalal is the lover and Jodha the beloved. She will never be capable to his kind of deewaangee; she is no Laila or Juliet. I hope Jalal understands this, for otherwise he is in for a major disappointment.Me thinks he is ok with this as long as he has her company... since he is the lover, he can accept her with her shortcomings.. 😊
