The serial Kasautii Zindagi Kay, is based on the deep and special bond of:

- Anurag, played by Indian television's handsome hunk and brilliant actor, Cezanne Khan

- Prerna, played by the beautiful & talented Shweta Tiwari

When this awesome soap premiered, it became an instant super hit, because of the beautiful & eternal love story that developed between Anurag-Prerna! Anurag and Prerna's Jodi became one of the most popular, superhit and all time favorite Jodi on Indian Television!! And there are still fans all over the world who are watching KZK because of this Anurag-Prerna duo, whether they are portrayed as a couple( before), or just as true friends (now) !!

The fact remains that they shared a Gehra rishta then, and even now! That is why our rocking section is named Anurag Prerna ka gehra pyaar!

This popular Jodi has innumerable fans, who love the jodi's amazing chemistry!! Moreover, This Jodi is even enlisted in Ekta's kapoor favorite jodi's list from all her telly soaps.

We can proudly say that this beloved Jodi deservingly won the Best Star Jodi Award at 1st Star Parivaar Awards, which was held in 2003.

In the beginning, Cezanne & Shweta were good friends off screen. In addition, if we believe the rumors/articles, they were even considered more than only good friends. God knows what the truth behind these rumors is! However, for some reasons, there has been an animosity/bitterness between Shweta and Cezanne, and they are not on talking terms these days!

Nevertheless, they still rock due to their amazing acting, looks, chemistry, and rule the TELLY WORLD and many hearts of their fans.

Cezzane Khan, Arguably the best looking guy in telly world, he made his debut in Hasratein - the superhit serial of the 90s.

He followed it up with small roles in Dushman and Palchchin.

He could have been easily forgotten had he not landed a role in Ekta Kapoor's Kalirein.

So impressed was the Queen of Soaps by his performance that she offered him the lead role in Kasautii Zindgaii Kay.

Cezanne is extremely professional and dedicated to his work as an actor. He is well known for his loyalty and punctuality. Ekta Kapoor always mentions Cezanne when it comes to dedication towards work.

Although serious about his profession, he is a lively and joyful person. He has a good sense of humor and he loves to entertain people! He is also a voracious eater! He is a complete non-vegetarian and he loves to eat tandoori chicken. Basically, chicken is his favorite food item. He loves his mother's handmade food.

In 2003, he received two Indian TelevisionAwards (ITA) for 'Most Popular TV Actor' and for 'Best TV Male Personality'.

With three major serials in his kitty, Hiten Tejwani is on cloud nine these days. He is doing Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Karam Apna Apna and now Kasauti Zindagi Ki. He is kicked up about playing Pratham Mittal all over again, this time in Kasauti. He tell us in an interview…

So you will be seen once again playing Pratham Mittal after Kutumb?
Yes, but this time Pratham Mittal is not a young boy. He is a grown up adult and a mature man and has changed his looks a lot.

Do you miss Kutumb and its Pratham Mittal?
Yes, of course I do miss it a lot as it has offered me my family, good work and almost everything that I am today. I got my recognition from Kutumb only…

Tell us something about the new Pratham Mittal.
Pratham Mittal is a business tycoon and also a very ruthless human being. His eyes are cold and no one can make out anything from his eyes. And yes, I am known as PM, which denotes night. So I have a dark shaded character basically.

Something about your new look.
We had tried about three hairstyles and finally we zeroed down on the third one, as Ekta wanted me to look totally different. She also wanted to shed away my sweet boy image, as I am playing a very strong and a manly role in Kasuati. I have also put on hazel lenses, which are brown honey in colour. It suits me and my new look, as my eyes play a very important part in this role.

What about your other serials? How do you manage your time?
See, being in the same production house benefits me, as I do not have to think much about how to handle my schedules. I do not have to think about it so much, as in Karam Apna Apna and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi my track is not there much or is very less. So, I can devote much time in Kasauti Zindagi Kay.

Will we see Gauri with Pratham again?
That depends on her, as she believes in doing one serial at a time. She is happy with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as of now but if something good comes to her she might pick it up. Currently, she is enjoying her yoga classes, Spanish classes and all the rest.

Ekta Kapoor normally gives lavish entry to the characters. What about your entry?
Yes, my entry too is in a very lavish way as first I am in a chopper then I come horse riding. And then in a temple walking in between fire!!
