Salaam Namaste Everyone!😛

We r very well into Indian Idol season 3 and hope u all are enjoyin it! and are u all are picking ur favs yet????😃! I'm still looking but I'll find someone soon😉 ….I guess😕. Well as u can see by the topic I just wanted to discuss the amount of young people trying their luck at II3 and most of them singing par excellence👏👏👏. And is it just me or most of the people who have got into the following rounds are of ages 16, 17, 18!👍🏼 Its good to see such talented young singers but its also quite surprising to see more of them trying this season compared to previous ones😊!…Last season as far as my memory goes Neha was the youngest at just 18...! But this season…wooo…heaps of teens and that too with good voices!😃👏

Although its extremely early to be thinking about this now I was just thinkinh 🤔 (i know ME and THINKING is a bad idea🤢 but read on ..pls😳)…if this years indian idol did turn out to be one of these very young talents do u think they could carry the weight of being an "idol"? I mean its not easy to judge some people can be heaps mature than what they look (or even heaps immature than what they look e.g. MYSELF😆😆😆) but u see like even the first indian idol Abhijeet said….after winning he got "instant fame" which I think was pretty overwhelming for him so could a young singer this season be able to cope with it? I would love to think they would😛 . Although its not easy to decide yet but oh well … no harm in a little discussion!😳😳

Anyhow hope the young talent this season does not dissapoint us in the further rounds and wishing them all the very best!👍🏼👍🏼

** Please this is just a general discussion …don't turn it into a WWF ring ** 😆

P.S. Did I mention how extremely hyper and annoying Anu Mallik has become this season. 👎🏼

And all of u thinking how come such a serious topic from a clown like me well "Sab Kuch Ho Sakta Hain"😆

Cheers

if they can reach to galas n after a longgg journey of hardwork they can become indian idol then i dont think it wud be difficult for them to carry that weight of being indian idol😳

Yes, I remember reading in some article that most of the contestants selected are around 16 to 18 years old. I don't know if they were referring to the top 28 or the contestants selected for the theater round.

Whether one of the young talents can carry on the weight of being the next 'Idol' depends on the person, i.e. if they're mature enough to handle the instant fame and success, don't get carried away by all the instant hype and fame. If they can handle the celebrity title and status, then they should be OK. But one thing is for sure, their lives will never be the same. Many of the current contestants want to be the next Idol cos they want fame so if thats what they really want, that is what they shall get if they win or even make it to the top 12.

Lil Champs contestants have seemed to 'cope' pretty well, The top three (Sanchita, Sameer and Diwakar) are all 'household' names now. Pawni and Abhrokanti are well-known as well. All the contestants are much younger than former II winners and current contestants. But we really don't know how the fame has affected their lives, education, friendships, family life etc.

I guess the most important thing is to 'not let the fame go to their heads'. Winning a reality show is just the start. Instant fame sure doesn't last forever.

There definitely are a lot of young talents in this season of Indian Idol. If they get far in this show, then surely they'll get instant fame. We can't say that they won't be able to cope with their popularity and fame. They will not be the first teens to be famous.. there are many of them in hollywood.. not so much in bollywood maybe... but i kinda feel bad for them cuz of all the politics we see in media these days.. they've to get exposed to that earlier in their life.. and their life will be different... from being innocent, they'll go on to becoming a celebrity.. which might be hard.. but since they've entered the show with their talent, they've been expecting it and they'll be ready for it if fame comes their way....

Very nice topic.

Its good if the young talent is choosen in top 28. I dont think anything wrong in it. I think thats even better because by the time they are 20-21 they would be even better.
