👏 You've summed up the current scenario on the forum so well 👏. The fact is, that forget the 16th century, even in the modern 21st century, this kind of egoistic attitude is a sure shot recipe for disaster for any long standing relationship.Ekta is running a PH to rake in the moolah...understandable.She has a time tested formula of glorifying her female leads to "Goddess" status with "Hunars" like self proclaimed "Always right"," bhaashan baazi" at the drop of a hat, etc...no problems, BUT ONLY when she did it to her self created fictitious characters Tulsi, Parvati, etc....she is now doing it to historical "real" characters from the past...not acceptable.We just need to pause, close our eyes for a minute, try to visualise Jalal & Jodha from the real paintings posted here in the forum...&...1) try visualising Jodha lecturing Akbar, probably the greatest Shehenshah-e-Hind 😆 ...2)or Akbar falling all over the ground, or all over his horse (like yesterday 😆) for Jodha...3)or Akbar galloping all over his sultanate hunting for his Jodha Begum, leaving his kingdom WIDE-open for attacks by all & sundry, knowing fully well that he is under threat, RIGHT NOW 😆One may then be able to see the sheer "illogical creativity" of the empty craniums of the bunch of people who are under instructions from Ekta to churn out a daily soap based on great historical characters(to attract viewers who admire these historical characters) but dish out her usual "SAAS-bahu-MAHAAN heroine" drama (to attract her usual TRP generating audience, who are irrevocably in love with the "MAHAAN" avatar of the heroine 😆)

@ blue - I was rolling in laughter reading the points, so true! 😆 Thank god real Akbar hopefully was no where like this, I am guessing so or else he couldn't have been the famous and most renowned ruler of the mughal dynasty. Yes imagine doing all this leaving his kingdom behind running after his begum who seems emotionally and sentimentally lost.
And about the modern generation, what else can I say! Ekta keeps churning stories after stories making her bank account grow bigger and bigger by making the halo glow brighter of the heroines and making the heroes look dumb, dumber and dumbest and these girls are simply lapping it up thinking this is modern feminism and girls ought to be living their life like this treating men like doormats and giving lectures at drop of the hat. My main bone of contention here is, this is a historical story and the characters deserve that respect and treatment that history had given them. But then again who am I for Ekta to take notice and do the needed alteration in the characterization!
Lana, unfortunately media has a huge influence on the viewing audience - specifically in identity creation - and people like EK are further confusing an already confused audience in terms of what their identity is. These entertainers need to take responsibility of their presentations!!!!
