Why is this the mentality, what does it say to people who have been abused like me, that everyone should start loving their abuser?

I understand your sentiments but sadly on TV serious issues like these are glamorized or may its that people don't take it seriously anyways. It's quite sick to even imagine that someone is going to notice physical looks or how the couple looks together (only physically) and hold that in high preference over actually punishing the abuser and setting a good example for the society. Sad. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for you when people write stuff like this though.

Thanks for the support Sugar! It is very hard and triggering to watch this, and see people blame the girl for not standing up, when we fail to see that young women are socialized to not speak against their husbands and have internalized a lot of this stuff.

Its a television show where we qant urmi to teach him a lesson but cange him too which leaves a message ib the society that its high time such men change or else thet mess their lives..
