Wow you mean tv will channelise for sure. Just to see your so called hot hunk to romance Urmi, like I said the idea itself is so horrible no one can able to watch it even in serial, reality is way too far .

Not but the least, no one changes i, you cannot change anyone in this world, you can only force and impose rules . It's the bitter reality, accept it or reject it. And this serial is not a love story to see love.

I know tv serials have not left any stone unturned to dismantle the meaning of love with all crap serials with title as love but nothing more than humiliation to the women and men. Coming generation will have to go back to dictionaries or read plays to really see and understand what the real meaning of love is.

One husband rapes and still forum members begging for so called love blooms, one man beats wife black and blue and humiliates and insults and what not, still they want love, one man marries to only destroy woman life, becoz he is rock star the viewers want love to happen, the list goes on..and on

This shows how completely lost and confused the present generation is.

@naina2010 - agree with everything you have said. Tv serials are showing men going to such extremes and yet audiences want romance because the leads are attractive? How ridiculous! I would like to see a woman take revenge on these men and put them in their place. Yes and then show those women having romance but with another person. Why should the hero only get the heroine? Show the heroine fall for a man who is genuinely loving, caring, supportive and respectful of her. At the end of the day, when living with a spouse/lover, looks don't matter as much as the characteristics of a person.

Dont blame tv serials they are a aource of entertainment nd ya there are diff people in this society nd its bound to happen that someone feels samrat can change someone feels he cant...nd I want him to change but after lot of suffering nd its not coz of mohit maliks hotness nd romance its coz its imp for men who are watching this show to understand the value of the women of the house..as we a bunch of people here hve access to all kinds of communication but majority of india is still unapproachable nd tv is the only medium tgey access..so I feel its a wonderful show nd samrat must change even if he doesnt end up with urmi

TV shows and movies are not just a source of entertainment - they are a testament to the times and culture of the time period. TV/Movies/other forms of entertainment have a HUGE impact on society and culture outside...

I mean just look at fashion; the styles of clothing and "whats in" etc are influenced by what actors/actresses wear on tv/movies!

TV is such a powerful medium and influence on people's everyday lives and actions (commercials, anyone? Aren't you ten times more likely to buy product X if you've seen its commercial as opposed to product Z when you haven't heard about it?). Because of this influence, it would be horrible to show that "men like Samrat can change if given love etc etc" because in reality, men like him do NOT change. Going into a marriage thinking that you can change a beast or a man or your spouse is a surefire recipe for disaster, because that doesn't occur.

And showing Samrat "changing" and falling for Urmi will just reinforce to millions (yes, millions) of women who are abused by their husbands that if they keep on taking their spouse's torture, then maybe one day he'll change and fall in love with them; and this has a very minor chance of happening b/c you can't much change someones personality esp after marriage in real life - and it may be too late for the women as many of them are even killed b/c of the torture.

This is a pathetic post myrah13.

I guess if he whips her but kisses her wounds that will be good enough? Perhaps next time he should stab her but then make sure to bring her flowers or a box of chocolates? Perhaps strangle her but then give her a diamond necklace?

I guess that is the romance you are hoping for? Wonderful standards!

Abuse is never romantic!
Abuse occurs in a cycle. Abusers often show repentance and ask for forgiveness but the cycle continues. After the brief "honeymoon " phase, abuse reoccurs and often escalates. The cycle of abuse is well known and it is better to be aware of this.

Just because a guy is good looking, just because he says he is sorry and does nice things for a short period of time does not mean this is acceptable.

Women often stay with their abuser because they are lulled to believe that they have changed. They believe in the romantic gestures and the apologies. Unfortunately it usually does not last and the abuse continues.

It would be irresponsible to show this love story as happening. It would send a wrong message to impressionable women in the audience.

A abuser is unacceptable but here its a serial nd he shud be shown repenting for his acts as it gives a message to the society also that men must change the way they think nd then maybe love happens
