Decent looks, confidence, acting, nice dialogue delivery matter the most. Being original and self assured is important. Hrithik is example of a perfect debut.

I think for me its screen presence. I was REALLY impressed with HR in KNPH. I dont think anyone else before him or after him impressed me as much. He was a complete package.

Acting and screen presence. If an actor is a good actor but is boring..than there's no point in being an actor. Because an actor's job is to entertain.
