I was just reading a post where Kangana said awards are an expensive affair for her so was wondering why do they have to wear dior, versace, manish malhotra etc which is a total rip off.

Ccant they wear good sarees etc from good well known indian designers like paaneri, bawree , aishwaria studio etc. where you can get heavy sarees for rs. 30,000. This in turn would also help indian shop generate profits. Same goes for movie outfits. Why do their shoes have to be Jimmy choos. Cant they be metro, Kings etc?

In the end, I must admit I have seen better sarees at these stores than what Manish Malhotra creates. So why?

If they have the money,let them afford it

i cannot question what they do with it

what surprises me is media here

i remember how media said kareena repeated a set of jewellery twice and how neha dhupia wore the same skirt thrice. It was as if they committed a sin.

somehow the celebs are forced to wear branded clothing or else media will rip them off. They scrutinize every little detail of what they wear. If they get some cheap quality cloth,irrespective of the quality,they'll be made fun

Shops like Paneeri, Bawree and Aishwarya are doing great business without the help of celebrities. People come not just from all over India, but all over the world to buy their stuff. Seasons is literally minting money making multiple sales every minute. NRI's give them more than enough money, no-one should be worried about them going out of business any time soon.

There is simply no comparison between Metro shoes and Jimmy Choos. The beads on Metro shoes would start peeling off after wearing it once lol.
