n ditto people have to know this is neitehr IPK 2.0 nor is Paro Khushi 2.0! 🥱

Hey Sunara, never meant it that way. 😲 Forced marriage is hardly enjoyable. I doubt anyone did. But yes, it was expected and so were the preceding 7 vachans. 'Aur aathvaan vachan, mera...' was a precursor enough.

Sunara this is yet again a very thoughtful post from u. You have covered everything about the necessity of reading Paro is the backdrop she belongs to rather than in our own sophisticated settings. You have already hinted in this direction but I would like to repeat that concepts like love, courage, hatred, respect are all abstract and relative. What might be courageous to me might not be courageous to U. But that doesn't me that either of us is wrong. We just need to realize that we come from different perspectives. So one might see Paro as a weakling for putting up with Rudra's tantrums but to me she comes across as one courageous woman for the exact reasons you have highlighted.

I didn't at all associate any significance to the alcohol-milk scene. I watched it as an ordinary scene that showed Rudra's torture. So thank u for hi lighting the symbolism in the scene and making it significant all at once.

Sunara fabulous post and I loved the episode.

After two days of intensity this light-hearted episode was most needed and pretty innovative way of an SR night I must say.

Secondly Paro loves him, she wanted him to marry her, he did it his way and she understands his drunk behaviour is due to his suspension which is not something petty.

So no reason for her to weep buckets. Her first concern was to sober him down and get her man (now husband) on the bed.

And after all that dragging and drama of a wedding, she is dead beat. So went off to sleep only to be woken by a mouse (very significant)...and then eventually dozes off where most comfortable.

Next day seeing his behaviour and attitude she sat to think what was he really upto and questions him about the vows. He sat down and gave her his reasons which she accepted.

So I agree with you the episode was perfectly done, only thing was the absence of Dilsher without a proper explanation or a good bye.
