I cannot say I enjoyed the episode. But was expecting it such. Isn't this that we signed up for. Hell, I was expecting much worse when I read that Rudra would be almost an animal. The show is proceeding the way it was presented. This is not IPK 2.0.

no i didn't mean i enjoyed what was happening as what is right and wrong goes, but as u said I expected and was prepared for much darker stuff! and this keeps me heppy!

n ditto people have to know this is neitehr IPK 2.0 nor is Paro Khushi 2.0! 🥱

I get it that she may have accepted it.. But to not be disturbed by the kind of things he said.. Phew.. Anyway it's fiction and iv learnt to just live with it :)

well the thing is he was drunk - she being who she is and thinking all good about him and after having put him on a pedestal - she would be feeling guilty that he lost the job. And she was so hurt with what he said that she fainted!
but after that after the family gave her some strength she pulled herself back together and kinda faced what the family wanted. And barely 2 mins later Rudra came and carried her off.. so..

anyway ya its fiction.. let's watch it like that..

Here at least Paro's grief comes from him only and not the family!

.
Not sure what you mean as i have not watched many shows to justify whats right and whats wrong

I enjoyed that episode!! OK I mean it was weird.. but still entertaining!!

Even I enjoyed the episode. I thought it was quite entertaining.

You know what? Its not that far fetched... within the world of fiction and its context and backdrop.

In a village - so so rural like Bhirpur/Chandangar, a girl who was once married/widowed/engaged be it fake or real is used goods. She cannot live further in that society like a normal girl.

And measuring someone in the same yardstick as ourselves is wrong.
You have somehow managed to read my thoughts. Even I was thinking this. Whenever I watch RR I take the whole story as it is a story written by people and the character has been penned down by someone but girls like Paro may still exist in the rural parts of India. We just don't know. Most of us watching the show are today's generation's modern girls and yes we wouldn't take that kind of crap but Paro is not. She is simple village girl born and raised to obey. First her parents and once married her future husband. So yes we should take ourselves out of the equation and think of this from her POV.

She reacted - it was shocking, heartbreaking.. and she fainted cz she couldn't take it anymore..

But the deed has been done. And he might be in a furious mood. But the family just like her knew that it was a done deal. In fact it was the ONLY possible outcome in such a society. (not the way he married her - But him marrying her)
So just the fact that the marriage doesn't seem to be a bed of roses does not mean to not do what they can do to ease her pain.
And that is what that family did together. The nicer ones at least, came together and = again. In that society to stand up to a man, a woman cannot do it! Its FACT.
And only another man stronger than him can do it - that is why Dilsher was not there. And Samrat and Dhanveer were..
And they saw that atrocity of sort being done. And were silent spectators, cz Paro herself had given in... and yet their guilt over not being able to do anything for her earlier spurned them to do what they could to make it feel better. They welcomed her in to their fold..
And Paro too - well to be honest, i don't think I would have had the courage to face life if I had been married off to a terrorist and was thrown in to custody and tortured/questioned/terrorized as she was..
The fact that she is still standing there alive, without taking her life means she is definitely NOT US!!

So treat her as herself and not as us. Don't think what we would do. But think of that girl who survived all of it and is still able to smile at life. And if she could take what earlier happened to her and move ahead and breath, she definitely can do this too!
She accepted what had happened - after a very humanlike reaction and fainting in pained shock - she took it in her stride and decided to live! And not wallow! That is her coping mechanism! Cz any1 else would have taken their life 100 times by now!!
I loved that some of the family members helped her and did the right thing in welcoming Paro into their family. Your right on the fact that if Dilshar was there maybe none of this would have happened.

Anyway Rudra was lol.. ok.. bad and cute! I felt my lips twitching half the time despite wanting to hit him!!
And anyway... watch this as a serial, don't expect Paro to be urself or expect ur own reactions out of her.
Agreed on watching the show just as a serial, a serial which I must say I love to bits.

There is a reason this is based on such backwaters where this girl was once married off cz a snake drank milk from her container..
So take it as it was always premised..

Anyway coming to the unique factor - that was the hubby-wife drinking session!! U and me drinking together for more of long life & less of short life LITERALLY!!

Milk is good - alcohol is bad.. the deal was the more good things she did the less bad things he would do..

Mind you - they kept it clear - he will not do good things and nor will she do bad things.. in b/w all the craziness that is actually what remained with me...

Loved your whole post Sunara. A much needed one I might add. I for one am excited to see what happens next.

Well written and I was in for the episode simply and honestly because I know love will prevail between the two but before that there will be hate...
The other reason why am not complaining too much is cause rudra only says he hates her but his actions are mixed and so are his expression...

Even in today's episode which was supposed to have blown the worst out of him...he carries her...talks of SR...tells her he won't drop her down...am not saying those were lovey dovey moments per say but if you look at his temperament you'd expect him to be pulling her by her hair...instead he carries her in his arms...so these scenes kind of eased out the tension that was building up...and then even the way Paro got hurt by the punching bag and she rubs her head was hilarious...

Look back at all the episodes rudras anger and hatred have mix of some caring touchy actions and expressions...like the earlier episode he blasted her and then helped her with her blouse in the kitchen...

I personally like RR for this...ease out moments even in the most tensing episodes...
