Which serial are you currently acting in?
I am acting in Devi on Sony Entertainment Television, and Kumkum on Star Plus.

Tell us more about your role in Devi.
I play a character called Kalika. She is a new protagonist, but is not a replacement for Saakshi Tanwar's character. She is just like a normal human being in many different ways, but is also like a super-human in other ways. Kalika doesn't have any magical powers as such, but she has certain special powers like hypnotism. Kalika has a direct connectivity with both Devi and Gayatri.There is a link between all the three characters. That is why she is not much of a stranger to the audience.

Are you acting in any other serials besides Devi and Kumkum?
No. Only these two at the moment. I don't have the time for anything else.

How did you get the role in Devi?
The makers of the serial contacted me directly and narrated the script to me. After a couple of meetings, everything was finalized, and I decided to play the character of Kalika.

Have you acted in theatre earlier?
Not at all. I was only into dance during my school and college days.

How long have you been in Mumbai? What do you like about the city?
I have been in Mumbai for the past six years. I like everything about the city - the pace of life, the nightlife, the fact that it is safe for a woman to walk on the street even at three in the morning.

What do you love the most besides acting?
I love dancing and listening to music
