Many meanings of Arjun Kapoors wrist tattoo

That Arjun Kapoor got 'Ma' inked in Hindi on his wrist this New Year is already known, but the quiet actor has always refused to divulge details about it; he often declined to get it clicked too. The tattoo is, of course, something that he got inked in mom Mona Kapoor's memory, but there are other meanings hidden in the design too.



On top of Ma is an inverted number 8 " the numerological total of Arjun's birth date (June 26). He told us it also symbolically represents the concept of eternity, something he believes in. "I got hooked onto tattoos while shooting for Finding Fanny. My character has four tattoos. So, on January 1 this year, I went and got my ears pierced and this tattoo done," he says, adding, "Whenever people would spot Alia's 'Patakha' tattoo, which she got done around Highway's release, and talk to her about it, I'd always be happy that mine had escaped notice."
