My Heart Will Go On
Geet rushes home after picking up her daughter, she had to do something for tonight. Apparently, having security system was not enough. How did he get into her house? She wasn't scared of herself but of her dog and her daughter. They are the only two people in her life right now for support, without them she is nothing. Geet sighs when she sees her pesky neighbor planting flowers outside wearing a ridiculous sun hat with matching gardening gloves. He waves at her as soon as she steps out of the car.
"Hey there neighbor...nice day out today huh?"
Geet ignored him as she proceeded to take out Animaah from the back seat. She could tell he was watching her really carefully as if she is doing something unique and new. She had too many stuff to carry into her house which would require multiple trips which means she would have to deal with him until she is back inside her house.
"Here let me help you. What are boys for?" (he walks over to her trying to pick up her bags)
"I don't need your help. Why are you so persistent? I don't want to talk to you. Please leave me alone."
"Come on I don't beleive that and plus I can't let a lady struggle while Yash is here. If not as a friend then as a neighbor let me help you. I will leave you alone after that."
"That is what you said yesterday"
"Today is a new day my lady. I will not bother you again for the rest of the day today. What do you say?"
"Fine...if it means you getting out of my hair then fine help me and leave me know after"
"As you wish..."
Animaah looks at Yash with big open eyes at this new stranger. She tries to wiggle out of Geet's hold to touch his face with her tiny little hands. Geet had to hold her hand to stop her for any sudden movements. Yash just smiled at Animaah and made funny faces to make her laugh. Animaah giggles and lets out a loud squeal which made Geet smile a little. She has never seen her daughter this happy before.
"Is that a smile I see on your face?" (Geet quickly covers up her smile as she walks inside her house ignoring him while he carried all the bags following right behind her) "alright that's all the bags, if you need any help let me know if not as a friend then as an frenemy" (Yash smiles at Animaah one more time, he was about to step closer to her when Koora comes stands in front of them snarling at Yash. She starts to bark making him scared. He looks at Geet for help who just enjoyed his position)
"Sorry she is like that around new people. Its better if you leave"
Yash nods his head and leaves the place fearing Koora. Geet places Animaah in her crib letting her play with her new hanging toys while Koora sits near her crib looking at the door. Geet pets Koora hugging her tighly with tears. She knew after last night Koora was scared and moreover angry at the intruder. Koora licks Geet's face trying to make her smile.
"I know you are scared but I will find a way for us. I am not giving up this easily."
Maan saw her talking to her dog in her daugther's bedroom. Yes, he had her under survilance cameras throughout the house and he was able to hear her every thought and action. What is she going to do now? How can she help herself out of this situation? Can she? He smirks. She would never know that there is someone that is watching her. He zooms in on her eyes as she silently cries while hugging her dog. He was feeling sort of happy and angry seeing her in tears. Shouldn't he be joying right now? He saw her going toward her daughter snuggling her closer toward her body. Her daughter places her head on Geet's neck resting as Geet genlty pats her back.
"You know what pain I have gone through to keep you safe? I went to jail for you and I will do it again if anyone tries to harm you again." (Animaah squeals in happiness as if she understood what Geet was saying. Geet sits down on her rocking chair singing a song to Animaah "My Heart will go on" as Animaah snuggles to her chest while Geet pats her back. Koora snuggles near Geet's legs listening to her song while looking at the door for any interuders.

Maan listens to the song, he felt something stir inside him listening to her sing this song. he knew the scars on her body was realted to her past, who did this to her? Did she do it to herself? How he wished he still had kept her file and read up on her past. One mistake he made in his life. He could see the pain on her face as silent tears streak down her cheeks. Maan wanted to close the laptop to get her out of his face but he couldn't. Unknowingly, she was pulling him towards her. There was something about her that makes him hate himself after hurting her. Why?

Maan closes his eyes remembering their moment, even if it was filled by hatered for one another another, he still can't seem to forget her touch. She was his enemy but yet his heart wasn't treating her like one. He watches her every move, he could see the pain on her face when she bent down toward her dog.

Geet touches her stomach as she was bending down toward Koora. Her scars were paining her all of a sudden. She walks toward the mirror lifting her shirt up a little looking at the blood that was starting to peak out from the burnt skin. Maan's hand touched his bruuise unknowingly while his eyes were fixed on Geet.

Maan closes his eyes when he saw Geet lift her shirt off. He never seen such thing in his life before. Geet looks at her upper body in tears, this was the ugly truth about her. Some of the scars were left by her own father and some were of a rapist. She still remembers the compliments people used to give her now this is what she has become.

Maan opens his eyes slowly, looking at Geet. Pain was all he was feeling inside his heart for her. Why? His hatered was not there for her just pain and pity. Some questions arised in his mind for her past. He was getting more pulled into this then he had orginally wanted. He just wanted to finish her off and be done with his revenge, now he is not too sure if he will ever let go of her or be happy with his revenge.

Maan closes the laptop in anger. He can't afford to feel like that for her. He has to see her as she is..his enemy. He can't let her so called scars or past affect his plan and his revenge. Can he do that? He leans back in his chair remembering his childhood hoping that would add a fuel to his anger but all he could see was her, her scars and her pain that somehow bothered him.
