Seriously!

All I see these days is South movies remade in Hindi that too with bad quality.
For once I would like to see some original plots, rather than copying Tamil,Telugu, Malyalam and and other Hollywood movies..

Stars like Salman toh has taken a shapath to remake all the South movies. In a way it has a hit formula, find a good South movie, fill it with masala suitable for North Indian audience, cast a sexy looking actress with minimal acting, thode peppy wale gaane, bas movie HIT!

Just see this..🥱

Ready (Telugu remake "ready")
Bodyguard (Malyalam and Tamil "bodyguard")
Ghajni (Telugu and Tamil "ghajni")
Singham (Telugu and Tamil "Singham")
Force (Telugu remake "Gharshana")
Wanted (Telugu remake "Pokiri")
Kattha Meetha (Malyalam remake "Vallanakalude Nadu)
Rowdy Rathore (Telugu remake "Vikramarkudu)
Son of Sardaar (Telugu remake "Maryada Ramanna)
Jai ho (Telugu remake "Stalin")
Ramaya Vasthavaiya (Telugu remake "Nuvu vasthavante nenu Vadantana)
Policegiri (Tamil remake "Sammi")
Shortcut Romeo (Thiruttu Payale)
And the list goes on...😆
I don't have the time nor the energy to list all those movies.

Take a look at the recent releases..

Mental, Salman starrer remake of Telugu movie "Kick"
Heropanti, starrer Tiger 😆 remake of Telugu movie "Parugu"
Pizza, remake of Tamil movie "Pizza"
Main tera Hero remake of Telugu movie "Kandireega"
The Villain remake of Telugu movie "Killer"

There is still a long list... I'm not against remake of any movie, it just that Bollywood totally ruins the movies with unnecessary bakwaas. The hit movies of Telugu are totally spoiled. I watch all South movies and it totally pains me to see those beautiful movies turned into shreds in Bolly. All my favts in Telugu and Tamil superbly act in those movies, but all bolly does is lift those movies assign them to some crap actors, which turn out to be crap movies!

Watch all those original movies listed above and you'd know what I mean...

How do you guys feel?

Yeah I noticed it on YouTube people complaining. Even the style.
The song Dhatang Naach with shahid kapoor is taken from south Indian movie songs. I don't like that style.

Very annoying.

Didn't know Tiger movie was Parugu remake. It was a good movie and Prakash Raj excelled in emotional scenes. Looks like they messed it up given the trailer reaction here.

No.
Paapi pet ka sawaal hai

However, my main problem is not just copying.
They copy paste scenes,dialogues,music,songs.
Hell they copy even the camera angles.
And then they cry about critics, when they give such people a big zero on ratings.
Bhak saala.

Isn't it funny how we have so many " remakes " from the south, but the actors that come from the south are basically given step treatment at times. Would the "big" shows, or the interveiws with the critics like Rajeev Masand etc, ever call a Kamal Hassan? Just like the award shows gave Dhanush the best debut award, what If Amir did a movie in tamil and got an award for the best debut ? I wonder how these elitist, pseudo intellectuals and big names in Bollywood would react then.

Actually all these remke movies are just nonsense masala movies without head or tail in the story. Even south should not be proud of making such movies btw.
If you have to copy/remake movies make the better and classier ones. I for once would want to see a brilliant movie being remade. I don't have a problem with it.

Also a lot of BW movies are getting remade in south as well. The difference is, they chose the better BW movies to remake.

I totally disagree, you should watch south movies, its bolly that makes them without head or tail..

Take Wanted, ek number bakwaas it is, watch it in Telugu. It's Pokiri with Mahesh Babu starrer Ileana Dcruz, I bet you'd be charmed, not just by the hero, but the screenplay and everything..😛

And south movies copy Bolly movies very less, even if they do, they don't lift scene to scene..

Its quite an annoying trend actually. It seems there is hardly any originality in BW movies these days. The hero utters slang loaded dialogues while the heroine plays a damsel in distress who has to be rescued from the goons. There is action, songs, romance and masala minus the storyline.
This is crass and crude. Where is the class? Its the truth that such movies cater to the masses but whatever happened to the sensible viewers? Even if the movies are based in small towns and cities, a decent storyline never harmed anybody.

Ok. maybe. But just to be clear I actually loved Wanted a lot and I liked Bodyguard as well😆 Well I don't feel guilty about it, I actually enjoyed these two.
I still have to watch any of the south movies you mentioned but how different can they be when people say BW copies scene to scene, dialogues, music , songs as well😕
I have seen a beautiful Tamil movie called Varnam Aayiram (spelling?) starring Suriya. Now, why can't bollywood remake a classy movie like this one if they really want to.
