Chapter 5 - Goodnight Mr Khan

Zoya's P.O.V

Currently I was cleaning up the mess we all made. When I finished, I made my way upstairs. Thankfully all the door's were closed. The hallway was quite as usual. But as I was entering my room, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I jumped and looked back, almost screaming. It was Asad. What was he doing so late?

"Did I scare you?" he asked.

"Yeah, your face. It scared me" I replied smiling.

"Ha-ha" he laughed sarcastically.

"What do you want Mr Khan?" I said my arms now crossed in front of my chest.

"Nothing Miss Farooqui, just checking up on my fianc" He said coming closer.

"Well aren't you sweet?" I said sarcastically.

Then I realised that he was in his boxers and a tank top.

"Like what you see?" he said.

"I've seen better" I said blushing. Opening my rooms door and going inside.

"Oh really? That's why your blushing?" He said cheekily. Following me to my room.

"I'm not blushing!" I said looking away to hide it.

"Who said you could come in?" I asked.

"You're my wife to be. I can follow you wherever I want" he said sitting on my bed.

I rolled my eyes, took some short pyjama's and a t-shirt out, took my towel and made my way to the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" He asked, looking at my every move.

"What does it look like?" I said making a "Duh" face.

He rolled his eyes.

"Can I come with you?" He asked smirking.

"Don't push your luck!" I said and shut the door.

He laughed.

Pervert.

After taking a refreshing shower, I went out with my hair still wet. Asad was still there, now holding the frame in his hands which was on the side table.

"They're your parents?" He asked now looking at me.

I nodded my head. Too weak to speak.

The picture was of my parents when I was 2. The were looking at the camera smiling big with me in the middle. My dad loved taking pictures of us. I have plenty in the closet. But I never look at them. Its too painful.

"And that's you" He chuckled.

"Hey! I was cute!" I whined.

We laughed.

Now I was sitting on the bed beside him.

"You guys looked so happy" He said.

"what happened?" He asked.

My eyes were getting watery.

I think he noticed.

"Im sorry" He said.

"It's ok Asad" I smiled at him.

"I love your dimple. Your mum has it in this picture. You look so much like her" He said looking at me.

I smiled looking at the picture.

"I get that a lot!" I laughed.

Asad laughed with me.

"We were in London at that time" I said.

"Really?" he asked.

"Mhm" I said.

"So you were born in UK?" He asked still looking at me.

"Yeah" I answered, my legs crossed on the bed now.

He did the same with his, facing me.

"But then if you lived there, how comes your accent is so different? It's only got a hint of British in it" he chuckled.

I did too.

"Well, after my parents died. My aunt brought me here in America. I was only 3 then" I told him.

He nodded his head while sticking his bottom lip out.

He looked cute.

"Like what you see?" He asked coming closer to my face. Then I realise I've been staring at him.

I looked away blushing.

"We should go to bed" I said.

"Ok" he said laying down on my bed.

"No no! You go to YOUR room" I said taking his arm and pulling him off.

He laughed.

"Well, if you wanted to touch me, why not just say so?" He asked standing up and coming closer to me. I took one step back as he took one further. Until I felt the wall behind.

He put his right arm on my side and came closer.

"Don't worry Zoya. We'll have plenty of that after marriage" He whispered in my left ear. Sending shivers down my spine.

"Goodnight, shorty" He said now staring at me while I kept looking down.

He kissed my cheek and left. I was still standing there in shock of what just happened.

I let my fingers linger on my cheek where he kissed, sending electric shocks to my body.

God! It has only been one day and this boy has made me witness so much. I don't know what he will do after marriage.

And with that thought I made my way to the bed and fell asleep.

Chapter 6 - Good Morning

Zoya's P.O.V

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm. Turned it off and tried to fall back asleep, but I couldn't. Scared of being late for my final class in the university I jolted awake.

Slowly I let the hard wooden floor hit my soft feet and made my way to the toilet with the towel in my hand.

Took a long refreshing shower, came out and wrapped the towel around my body. Dried my hair, put small line of eyeliner and went out. If I said I hate makeup, doesn't mean I can't wear a little.

I wore my training pyjama's which I wear while I dance; it was black and was until my knees. I wore a dark grey colour tank top with a black zip up hood and some black converse. My mom's bracelet was still on my ankle. It made me smile of the memory. I put my hair in a pony tale, took my sports bag, wore some bracelets and left the room.

While I was closing my room's door I noticed Asad's door was wide open and there was a sleepy Asad laying on the bed inside. He looked so innocent and peaceful, unlike the teasy and pervy Asad.

I made my way downstairs and saw Mum, Dad, Najma, Imraan, Dilshaad, Rashid and a sleepy looking Safaa sitting on the kitchen table.

"Well...look who's awake. I thought you were gonna skip your class today" Mum said sarcastically.

"You have practice today?" Mum asked looking at my outfit.

"Yup!" I said.

I went and sat between Najma and Safaa.

"Hey there pretty lady" I said to Safaa.

She giggled and came sat on my lap.

"Im not a lady!" she said chuckling.

"She really likes you Zoya" Dilshaad said eating her breakfast.

"I like her too Mrs. Kha- I mean Ammi" I said.

She snickered and went back on eating her breakfast.

"Good Morning" A raspy voice said from behind me, which made me and Safaa jump.

I looked back and saw a sleepy looking Asad standing right behind me.

He looked down at me and smirked.

"Good morning Safaa" He said still looking at me and sat on the chair beside mines where Safaa was sitting earlier.

"Morning Assu" She said. I smiled at the nickname she gave him.

I finished my breakfast, ignoring when mine and Asad's arms were brushing, sending electric shocks to my whole body.

Sometimes I think he was doing it on purpose.

Dick.

"Okay Mum, I'm leaving. I'll be home before dinner." I said standing up and giving Safaa to Najma.

"Where are you going dear?" Ammi asked.

"I have class today and then I'll go to the studio." I said smiling at her.

"Oh, so your going alone?" She asked.

"Yes" I said.

"I'll drive" I said.

"Asad, why don't you take Zoya to the university then to the studio and bring her back home?" Ammi asked him looking excited.

"No no, Ammi! Its fine! I ca-" I was saying when Asad interrupted me.

"I'd be happy to!" He said looking at me.

"I finished eating and I think the class will only last for about an hour, so I'll go to the studio with her and spend some time." He said smirking.

Ooohhh, how I want to punch his pretty face!

"Ok then! Its settled!" She said.

"I'll be ready in a minute" He said and left to go to his room.

I sighed and sat back down on the chair.

Boy, when he says a minute. He means hours!

"The princess finally arrived!" I said when I saw him coming.

They all laughed except him, he just gave me a glare.

I noticed he was wearing the exact thing at me, just jeans instead of pyjama's.

"Like what you see?" He asked smirking while opening the cars door for me.

I just rolled my eyes and sat in the car. In HIS car.

Great!

"So, where is your Uni?" he asked.

I told him where it was, he said he knew that place and we went.
