Why is everyone so obsessed with Laila?

I'm actually curious. I really don't understand why some people are saying they had hope for Laila and that her character has been butchered. Her character exists to only create drama why are you all so concerned about her relationship with Rudra and how there's no way Rudra wasn't attached to her? The main leads in this show are Paro and Rudra, why are some of you talking as if you want Laila to end up with Rudra?
PaRud forever. Screw that stupid Laila.

was her character butchered?I don't think so.
I was under the impression that from the fact that she was no show for most of the new track that she is no longer welcome into major saab's life.
she is a very bold lady, who did not abide by the strictures made by the society and went after the jaanwar of the lot(rudra).Rudra used her and she gave herself to be used by him, only to be rejected by him in the end.
someone in the forum aptly said naachnewaali kabhi gharwali nahin ban sakthi.

I felt she got the apt treatment from rudra. He would have still been with her,if she had not created drama and opened up her heart to him.she did not know anything that was going on with Paro and rudra, was jealous(obviously) and made a scene which made Rudra just cut her out of his life.she vowed to take revenge.I think she is biding her time.

Everyone is entitled to their own views.
For me, Laila Is as much a part of this story as PaRud. The story is a long running one, there was ample scope to explore her side of the story and build up a beautiful narration. The relation that she and Rudra shared was a unique one, a side not much explored in Indian TV. She would have become the vamp anyway, that I know but what irked me was that her jealous side was brought on too abruptly and she was made to disappear too quickly.
The way I expected it is that they could have used her in a much better way to develop the original love story. Instead what do we have? She appears once a month, plotting and scheming meaninglessly.
For all it matters, I don't care much about the drama. Relating to the characters is more important for me. And I couldn't relate to what Laila has become. So for me that part of the story lacked proper closure and yes I do feel the character was butchered.

SilverLining... I agree with you. They could have done more development with the character and done something different than just make her into a crazy psycho. She could have been a more relatable person than just another drama maker. I love the PaRud story. It begins and ends with Rudra and Paro but there are other characters they can develop. Its not a big deal though. The writers have a vision and we have to watch and see. I love every moment of it! 😊

Yeah I actually wish she wouldn't come back, but what are the chances? I agree with you lol...the thing is she was jealous but also pissed. When she first saw Rudra and Paro together she wasn't hurt that he was with someone else, only her ego was hurt. She said that Rudra has to pay her back for the 8 years he spent with her...so again she was only thinking about her pride, not her love.
