PANCHI BORA: she makes a perfect pair with jay
bhanushali in kayamath. A balaji
discovery she had done a youth show
called "kitni mast hai zindagi" which
ended in 4 months. she was a young
student then studying in pune where
she appeared for a balaji audition .
"they were doing a nationwide audition
and i got selected along with 12 girls".
recalls panchi who finally clinched
the deal and went on to do the youth
show. Though the show that was
telecast on MTV didn't make panchi
famous, it helped her get noticed in
the ad world. she went back to her
studies and at the same time did a
few commercials.
Ekta, who had
promised her another good role,
called panchi to play the role of
prachi in kayamath. she accepted the
offer immediately ."This is my
second show and iam taking it very
seriously", smiles panchi.
JAY BHANUSHALI: Most love stories turn into

start rising. Like kahiin to hoga,
kayamath may also go the same
way. But that's for the future
and jay who plays neev in
kayamath has no clue about
what course the story will take
eventually. But the popular
model-turned-actor is excited
about his debut show."Neev is an
interesting character- today's
young guy,a go-getter,flirtatious
and doesn't believe in love. Prachi
is his best friend but he doesn't
think he loves her. But a situation
arises which makes him realise his
true feelings for her.", says jay who
is enjoying working withco-actress
Panchi Bora. "We share an
excellent on-screen chemistry".
Acting was never on jay's mind."I
was having a good time doing
commercials which is just about a
couple of days work in a month.But
i guess as a logical progression to
modelling,acting had to happen oneday
and it happened with kayamath.Its a
good show and it has made me quite
popular in three months."
For jay working on daily basis is a
different ball game. 'Modelling is less
work and more fun.But here it is
non-stop work from morning to night.
The days are very long.But iam working
very hard to make a name for myself and
my family is proud of me", he adds.
