CHAPTER 1
"Shlok.. wake up " someone was shaking him. He got up disoriented to see Varad in front of him. He looked around to find himself in the hospital bed..
S-"Dada Astha where is she?"
V-"She is in the operation theatre..."
S-"Kya?I need to see her now..."he tried climbing down but could not due to the IV connection .
S-"What is this?" he shouted.
Varad-"Relax Shlok you passed out on seeing Astha. That is why you are here.."
Sojal watched as Shlok came out from the special ward and tried to help him when he tripped by holding his arm just as Anjali did. Shlok pushed away Sojal in disgust and spoke-"Don't you dare..."
The anger and hatred made Sojal wince and she realized what she had lost and the real depth of it...
Kaka and Anjali made Shlok sit down and Varad gave him a glass of water.
S-"How long has it been ?when did the operation start?"
K-"6 hours back.."
Even as they spoke Shlok spotted Kalindi sitting and staring at something. Adhvoot and Ajju trying to get a reaction out of her
That precise moment the doctor came out.
Adhvoot-"Doctor meri bacchi kaise hain?"
Doc-"I am sorry magar your daughter is in Coma now..."
Shlok-"No" he muttered and the Kiloskar's came face to face with The monster who was responsible for their daughter's condition..
Sh-"Doctor she will be alright won't she?"
Doc-"To be honest mr.Agnihotri we cannot give any guarantee until she comes out of Coma and that to within less than 16 hours."
Anjali gasped.The doctor left and Kalindi spoke to Adhvoot-"Are you happy now? How many times did I tell you that this Shlok is not good for her. Did you ever listen?"
It was when a voice startled them..."Ma..."
Everyone's eyes fell to two guys who stood in the corridor with Niranjan Agnihotri.
Kalindi ran to them and threw her hands around them. She spoke-"Armaan kuch karo please you are her brother right do something please..."
Armaan Malik child hood friend of Astha, more like a brother and son to Kalindi stood there helpless.
Even as Varad watched, Armaan came out of his trance and began soothing Kalindi
Amy-"Sh...Sh..Ma Main hoo na I won't let anything happen to my pari...I promise..Now stop crying...please "
Adhvoot held her and made her sit.
It was just for a fraction and then Armaan took charge completely.
He took the report from the nurse and begin to go through it.
The phone in the hand of second guy rung and he took it...
G-"Did that B**** speak something... No give her anything and everything she wants. Food,water,dress anything but don't allow her to sleep.."
Armaan-"Arjun.."
Arjun-"you take care of things in the hospital and I will make sure that the press does not get a whiff of it.."
Amy-"What about that Aditi?"
Arjun-"Oh she is going to taste hell for sure..."
Arjun moved out leaving some of the Agnihotri members in shock and fear..
Armaan -"Dad I will speak to the doctor and come don't worry.." and he left..
All this time Shlok had not pushed Anjali's hands and comfort away from him.
