Jeete hainwill soon be yanked off air

17th May's episode will be the swan song for Jeete Hain Jiske Liye on Sony Entertainment Television. Looks like the daily which began with an unusual story line of Aman Dhanrajgir (Ayub Khan) in whose life his ex-flame Avni (Pooja Ghai) enters as his sis-in-law to wreak havoc in his marital bliss with Anjali (Renuka Shahane), did not go down well with the viewers. Recently, the production house had also added in a young starcast to spice up this telenovella.

Reliable sources from the channel confirmed that the show was being taken off air but did not reveal the reason or the replacement in that slot.

Confirming the fact that it was being pulled off air, the protagonist Renuka says, "I feel terrible about it. The potential of the show was not fully exploited. The tag line gave a different impression while the story digressed completely from the main plot. It's the channel's and production house's decision, I guess."

Maninee Mishra, the male lead's sister in the serial, too feels, "the story was sensitive and the premise was beautiful with the strongest ensemble cast. Unfortunately, I understand, it is being taken off prematurely due to late-night slot resulting in low TRPs. It's sad when any serial goes off air before its due."

Some say the 20-year leap after just a few episodes was the cause in the falling off viewership.

The new entrant Sounia Kapur, who plays Maneka, the love angle of Aman after
the 20-year leap opines, "From no angle should it be taken off air. I am sure the production house must be having its own reasons, otherwise who will wish to wind up after just 4 months."

Anoop Soni who essays the character of a family friend and lawyer, is rather diplomatic when he says he is not sure about the finale of the show since he has not received anything in writing to that effect.

As for a logical ending, Renuka aka Anjali reveals, "I am not told much about the ending except that I get my kids back. So, I guess it's a happy ending."
