Breaking News: Salman Khan adopts a baby boy

Salman Khan's ardent desire to have a baby without mother has been finally fulfilled. The Dabangg' star has turned a father. He has adopted a 6-months-old baby boy from Nandan Orphanage in Mumbai. Tears rolled in from the superstar's eyes as he holds his baby and walked out of the orphanage. The 48-year-old bachelor has named his baby, Prem (Sallu's popular on-screen name).

"Salman Khan came to our orphanage last Tuesday. After signing our shirts and walls, he took a baby boy home. We are very happy with the autographs. I have put a selfie with Salman Bhai on my Facebook page," says Manoj Sharma, head of Nandan Orphanage in Mumbai.

There has been a huge crowd outside the orphanage to take a snap of Salman with his baby.

Bystanders said that the superstar had tears in his eyes as he walked out. For the first time, he cried in public. "He had tears of joy in his eyes. It was Salman. I am sure," said the man.

Congratulation messages poured in as the news spread among his fans and close pals.

"Just sent an invitation to Salman Khan and Prem for an episode on Koffee with Karan 5! Really excited about the rapid fire round" tweeted Karan Johar.

"I did it first #Salmanadoptsbaby" posted, mother of two Sushmita Sen. Angelina Jolie re-tweeted Sushmita's post.

"Salman Bhai, I am very happy for you. I hope you will invite me for Prem's first birthday party. Xoxo." posted Salman's good friend Vivek Oberoi.

Salman once expressed his desire to have a baby and had shocked all by saying, "Marry, I don't know. But kids, I love them and want to have them. I am working on a way I can escape marriage and just have the kids."
