Mishal in Sony's Encounter

The second case will be based on D-company ace shooter Feroz Konkani, who is known for killing BJP leader Ramdas Nayak. The shooter was hunt down by Mumbai police in 2008 after some close gang member revealed his whereabouts to the police.

And playing this villain will be the talented Prashant Narayanan, who will be seen back on TV after his last stint in Phulwa. The award winning actor will play the vicious shooter and the ones gunning him down will be played by actors Mazher Sayed and Mishal Raheja.

Mishal, who seemed to have gone in hibernation post his show Laagi Tujshe Lagan, is making a comeback to small screen. And along with him, Mazher, who last played a funny character in Mrs Pammi Pyarelal, will play the encounter specialist officers.

We called up Prashant who sounded excited and shared, "I really enjoy playing these gangster roles and I was actually looking forward to be a part of some TV show. I am yet to shoot, but I am sure it's going to be a great experience. Since I don't get time from films it's always a great means to get back on TV through such interesting episodes. "

Mazher on his part added, "This is the first time I am playing a role of a police officer and thus it's quite exciting. It is going to be a full on action packed episode which the viewers will enjoy a lot. My character of inspector Manish Kadam is a powerful one."

Mishal was busy shooting and thus was not available to comment.

why do i feel its april fool joke...

Yes with Mishal it could be an April Fool's joke. Anyways no confirmation from him.

^^^The first film was telecast on 23rd March. After that I dont know when the next ones including Mishal's will be telecast. I assumed it would be every Sunday but Splitsvilla was airing in the same slot.

Ah thats nice...though I think the dates he tweeted are wrong. It should be 18,19 and 20 April. 😆
One role I always wanted Mishal to do was that of a cop. Glad that he is playing one here.
