It is something like "Ghanta". Ghanta has its own meaning, but milder form means bullshit or something like that.

Ghanta & jhand are still expletives no matter in which context one is using it.

Jhand means kachra karna. The urbandictionary meaning is incorrect. Pubic hair is supposed to be jhaant.

When someone tries to make a point or pose an opinion and the other party refutes it with a fitting comeback that puts them down, it's called JHAND karna. Some synonyms of the word include kachra, pachka, chammi (used by Keralites), pappu, fasheela, etc.

E.g.: Sunil badi hoshiyaari maar raha tha ke uske papa kitne ameer hain. Maine waheen apne papa ki Benz dikha kar Sunil ki jhand kar di.

We often use Jhand in our normal vocabulory... like tera jhaand ho gaya yaar (you just have been insulted yaar) and ghanta is like 'Ghanta kaam kar raha hai' (what nonsense,is he really doing some work? )
