Vivacious, spontaneous and confident " that's how one can define telly actress Sargun Mehta!
From portraying the character of bubbly girl Neetu in her debut show 12/24 Karol Bagh to essaying a dacoit's role in Phulwa as lead character followed by playing Mona Singh's daughter Bulbul in Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada and now as Ganga in Balika Vadhu " Sargun has taken up different roles to her credit. And she matched dance steps to perfection with her boyfriend Ravi Dubey in Nach Baliye 5 and her love for dance made her bag Boogie Woogie as an anchor! We ask her if entering small screen was a struggle for her?
To this, Sargun shares, "I would say getting into TV industry was a cakewalk. I went for the auditions just to try my luck with my friends on a light note and got the role. It is after entering that the real challenge begins. It is a major struggle to survive in showbiz " it is a huge competition " if you're out of sight, you're out of mind. So, you need to make your presence felt and you should be prepared for a hectic schedule on sets of 14-15 hours' shift. Now it feels slightly better to me after spending five years in the mad rush.
