I know what you mean and agree with you as well; however this constant negativity since day one is very irksome. Besides I know that it is a habit of some of the members to spout imbecilic ideas in the name of creative and positive criticism but imagine all those people who come to the forum for the first time and never come back again due to these rags written by some haters. Another thing that these haters don't understand is that talking bad about other people's work especially when it means bread and butter to them, is equal to killing them.

I totally get you and don't disagree with you or your post. I'll tell you what my problem is- your thread might just get locked because it's a "reactionary post" but the other totally biased post will be open. So if voices like yours that make sense are forced to shut down, why are moderators not taking action against the TM, instead of singular threads? It's beyond me.

I agree with your post. I can't speak for other shows but I can confidently say that RR is one of the better shows out there. TRPs are in no way an accurate measure of how good or bad a show is. I understand the importance of TRP from a business POV, but things like critical acclaim, online fan base and international success matter too and RR has all that.

I do hope that the makers of the show stick to their guns and don't change anything about the show. Your post says everything I've wanted to for the longest time. Most of the negativity comes from one or two people. And we all know who they are. Since the moderators won't shut them down, it is upto us to ignore them into oblivion. As far as TRPs are concerned, most shows that are in the top few apart from 1/2 dont really have much of a story line going on. Whereas shows like 24 which were ground breaking for Indian tv have bad TRPs. What the public likes is not always the best piece of art. A good example would be some of the much talked about 200 crore movies.
