SRK 'banks' on the UAE

The actor is visiting Doha and Bahrain for the opening of ICICI Bank's branches in the region

Shah Rukh Khan, along with TV presenter Mini Mathur, is currently in the UAE.

Sources reveal that he has been invited there for the opening of a new branch of ICICI Bank and also to meet with fans.

For the fans

Says our khabru, "Shah Rukh is the brand ambassador of the bank, and he came to Doha to inaugurate the bank's branch.

Also, there was a contest where fans would get a chance to meet him."

Says Shah Rukh, "I was earlier in Doha for the opening of the bank. Now, I will be heading to Bahrain for the second opening."

Mini misses Idol

Indian Idol host Mini Mathur confirms that she is hosting the shows there. "
I have never been to the UAE, so I'm thrilled to be here," she says, adding that she missed the first episode of her show Indian Idol 3 on Friday night.

"I wish I could have been part of the Idol launch bash. Nevertheless, I am thrilled that the show has begun."

It is reported that Shah Rukh may also visit Dubai, before returning back to Mumbai over the weekend.
