The episode was full of surprises. There were things I liked and somethings I cringed at.
BI is prob the only show on TV which should not use Filmy Songs in the sequences as they totally ruin the whole effect. I am so used to hearing BI songs that I only want BI songs to be played. That was the only cringe part I had. I like Bin Tere but I just didn't suit the whole sequence.
Bheji dua was pretty good but I am getting a bit tired of that song. Like I said, I am sure if they used their own show versions, the impact would have been massive..
Also, who runs like that? First, we had Aliya run like that in slow motion when Zain met with an accident and now , it just looked odd.
Scenes I liked:
1. Zain's adorable outburst at night. How he expected her to kick him and when she didn't, he was confused. He assumed she was sleep walking or in the bathroom. Not finding her anywhere, the expressions on his face were outstanding. Well done Harshad! You nailed that scene!
2. Zain at the train station. The expression, the impact of the scene was superb as he searches for her in the train and unable to find her, is distrubed, distressed and the pain is reflecting perfectly on his face. Him sitting down, and talking to her and calling her MKB was beautiful. The way she realized it was him, turning around and unable to leave. His expressions when he finally sees her. -- EPIC. Harshad Arora, another scene you nailed with perfection. Hard to believe you;re a newcomer.
3. Zain and Aliya and the CALENDAR. Loved how she ripped the calendar into pieces, foreshadowing that whatever happened in the past doesn't matter. It didn't matter that he was forced into this, it didn't matter what he or she said, the past is gone and that's how it shall be. Him ripping her tickets indicates that in the future, even if Bhopal is written, even if they try to seperate, they won't be able to. What matters is the present and that is SO true.
The good thing about the episode was that it was 99.9% ZaYa and one smirk of Suriya.
The precap - She strikes again but I wish she pay attention to how many times she has been successful vs unsucessful. Zain reminding Aliya of the wedding vows. Seems like an interesting episode yet again. Can't wait.
