Again, I have a mixed review about today's episode. Astha and Shlok were as usual good and they are slowly showing an evolution in their relationship and in Shlok. Kalindi's scene was also good because her worry for Astha is shown in parallel with Jyoti's worry for her unborn daughter. Sid and Jyoti's scene was good. But ...Aditi was a big turnoff because she is a caricature and all other characters are getting either dumbed down or not being shown because of her.

Observations:

Astha's Jungle Rescue - Baby Bear the Hero

So the druggie has now gone merrily to sleep in the jungle. I like this jolly druggie - would not mind him being Astha's friend. He and Astha had some good chemistry. Forget Karan...he is enough to drive Shlokie up the wall. So just as Shlokie predicted, Astha is lost and clueless. The owl Chipkali of course is not lost and can find her way in the dark jungle without any search light. She can also spot Astha when even the police or Shlokie can not. So she starts her upteenth attempt to kill Astha with the drink bottle, but is caught by the police (for once the police is efficient) and is escorted back to the cottage. Once Chipkali is gone ,Shlokie's search skills improve and he is able to spot the running Astha who as usual runs back into his arms.

Shlokie's reaction after this rescue and hug scene was different. There he had stepped away from her abruptly. Today he did not do so. Both stepped away at the same time and then he was looking at her closely. He did grew impatient with Astha who was not moving. Well...once Miss Honey Pot decides on something, she has to express it clearly. So she told him that she wants to walk with him, but he does not let her do so, and always rushes ahead of her. Shlokie got irritated with all this introspection talk at that moment and told her that she was too fond of uttering her nonsense even when the time was not right. Astha of course retaliated back by telling him that he too never forgets to fight with her even at an inopportune time. These two are going to bicker for ever in their life and dear baba expects them to be next Niranjan and Anjali...Have to say that dear baba is living in fool's paradise.

Talking of fool, what was lunatic Chipkali thinking? That Shlok would not find Astha and come back content. So psycho Chipkali decided to perform a seduction act by changing into lingerie because her delusional thinking was that Shlok would take one look at her and would go mad with desire...Poor Shlokie bear...he was so traumatized that even clueless Astha felt that he had seen a ghost. Except that he had not seen a ghost, but a glimpse of horror movie...really baby bear has to take papa bear to task for thrusting Chipkali on him..

Astha and Chipkali - Astha Reads the Riot Act

Wondering if Swati used to wear that color lingerie because Shlokie looked very shocked. Anyway, he decides outside on the bench until the whole trauma subsides and he can go back and sleep peacefully on the bed with his little Honey Pot...Before that, Astha decides to enter the room to freshen up and sees psycho coming out of the bathroom in her short lingerie. Chipkali too is shocked to see Astha back because clearly she thought that Shlok had returned without Astha and that she can attack his virtue with pink stuff and probably by the help of a rape drug.

Astha is angry with Aditi and is not hiding it anymore. Good girl...show her that you are not stupid who is not going to understand her game...So she tells off Aditi for telling everyone that she is Shlok's wife. She also does not buy Chipkali's lame argument that it was a spur of a moment thinking. She tells her quite firmly that she could have bought her argument if Chipkali was scared, but she was not scared. So Astha has pretty much figured out Chipkali's interest in Shlok...just Niranjan's instructions are the reason both Shlok and Astha are now tolerating Chipkali.

Realizing that her game has not worked, Chipkali shows her extreme bad manners by sleeping on Astha and Shlok's bed, dismaying Astha. Shlok too is shocked to see her using his bed after she had made a show of telling them that she would use the couch. So poor baby decides to take a pillow and decides to camp under the moon, stars and the bonfire. Astha who by now is totally fed up with Chipkali's behavior, goes outside with blankets for Shlok and a shawl for herself. She had no intention of sleeping with poisonous Chipkali and instead wanted to spend the night with Shlokie bear.

Before that, I forgot to mention one scene...

The Bench Scene - Astha's Conveys Her Hurt

So while Shlokie is outside on the bench, Astha comes there and tells Shlok she has hurt her hand. As usual, Shlokie reacts to Astha's physical pain and then realizes that Astha is talking about emotional pain she is feeling somewhere. Since he is used to Astha's honesty, he asks her to spell out everything clearly. Astha tells him that she was only using his methodology of expressing things by picking up a hard way. So Astha does know that Shlok expresses his feelings but in his own way. She still prefers him to spell out everything in open just as she does. Astha has to understand that Shlok has actually accepted her the way she is - clumsy, open and expressive. In fact, he now expects her to be this way and gets irritated when she goes the opposite way. But she has not yet accepted that Shlok's way is his way and not everyone can express the way she does.

Anyway, she comes to the point and tells him what has been bothering her - Aditi calling herself his wife and him not denying it. More than Aditi's actions, Shlok's denial bothered Astha. Shlok tells him logically that somebody saying something does not make it the truth. He was actually quite reasonable here.

Then he asks her smugly if she was jealous. Astha initially denies but then admits it honestly. When he again asks her to stay in her boundaries (because such expressions of love disturb his delusional comfortable world), she tells him that now that she has openly expressed her love for him, there was no reason for her to be shy about expressing the rest of the feelings - jealousy, possessiveness that are associated with love. Astha has become free ever since she has accepted her feelings and told them to Shlok. Her openness in discussing emotions is also breaking the walls Shlok has built around himself. Niranjan did a good deed for once (unintentionally of course) when he chose Astha for Shlok...Whom is he going to blame when he realizes the effect of Astha on Shlok...Of course it would be Anjali when Anjali was the one who had warned him about Astha.

Under the Open Sky - Astha's Musings & Shlokie the Moon

I liked this scene of Astha and Shlok where Shlok was silent and Astha was vocal. Though Chipkali had denied Astha the closeness she was seeking with Shlok by sleeping in the same bed with him, she did join him in the open and then was tearful looking at the sky. She compared herself to the moonlight who was always with the moon. So Shlokie bear is the moon for Astha. Sun is Shlokie's friend, but he is Astha's enemy because she wants to spend this kind of night with forever and does not want to leave him.

Astha was saying all that thinking that Shlok was asleep. But he was quietly listening to her wishes. Astha probably was saying all this because subconsciously she wanted Shlok to know her deep wishes. Shlok wants her to stay with him after one week but he still wants it on his own terms where he can keep her away at a distance emotionally. Astha wants to stay with him, but is not willing to compromise on her wish of having a complete relationship. So both are at an impasse right now. Shlok was sombre as he is realizing that there is no other way Astha would stay with him. This time, he is not going to use force or blackmail to stop her. It has to be her choice to stay with him but he is not yet willing to give her what she wants. Wonder who would change their stand first and for what reason? Will it be Aditi's psycho acts or would it be Jyoti's situation that would bring them to a common ground?

Kalindi's Fear and Avdhoot's Calmness

Kalindi and Avdhoot are now shown in parallel to Jyoti and Sid. Just as Jyoti is frantic about her daughter, so is Kalindi. Just as Avdhoot is trying to soothe Kalindi, so is Sid doing the same to Jyoti.
Kalindi is more fearful because one she is very attuned to Astha and hence gets an instinct about her when she is in trouble. Probably she too had to protect Astha once the way Jyoti is doing to her daughter. She is also scared because Shlok is a complete villain for her now. Her past has now been completely mixed in her mind with Astha's present. She knows that Astha still loves Shlok and realizes that Astha has again gotten close to Shlok. Previously, Shlok's betrayal was standing between Astha and her feelings. But now that Astha has accepted Shlok with all his flaws, that is no longer a barrier.

Avdhoot tries to calm down Kalindi's fears and tells her that she can talk to Astha the next day. Kalindi calms down for the moment, but she remains worried.

Sid and Jyoti - A gentle Soul and a Wounded Bird

Myra, I am taking your suggestion and it is Sid from now on. The name suits him too - the carefree, easy going person

Jyoti has been burnt so many times by the close ones that she is skeptical of kindness shown by a stranger. So she woke up scarred and decides to leave quietly. Sid is the person she needs right now - the one who is giving her space and a safe haven. So when she tries to leave in the night, he reassures her again by showing her that the way to open the lock - the choice to leave which she never had until now, and then by making coffee for her to soothe her. She too sleeps soundly after that and Sid too realizes that Jyoti has been hurt so badly that this is the first time in days she is sleeping like that.

Sid looks like a hand to mouth kind of guy - so similar to Abhay in being a middle class, but different from him because he is not relying on somebody's wealth. He is coming more and more like Avdhoot. Next morning he is leaving for the interview. Wonder if he is interviewing sombody or is himself being interviewed for a stable job (with the same company where Varad is employed?). He tells her that he would wait until she is ready to tell her story. He also indirectly offers her a place to stay. Now he did offer Jyoti his phone to call her family, but Jyoti did not do so. So right now she is not even making an effort to call Shlok or Astha. Is it because now she is feeling safe somewhere and wants to have a space to come up with future plans. She has been operating on fear for so long that she probably wants to relax in one place where she would not be questioned. She does think about the awkwardness of staying with a stranger, but then she is fearful of consequences if she steps outside and Abhay forces her to come back with him. So that is the reason she is hesitant to leave Sid's place. She no longer has trust in her family that they would protect her from Abhay.

I hope she stays with Sid until she is strong enough to confront some of her fears and contact Shlok and Astha for help.

Overall, it was a nice episode, but Aditi's inclusion sticks like a sore thumb. Also her characterization is increasingly becoming a one-dimensional annoying one. How many times are CVs going to show Aditi making an attempt on Astha's life, Astha being saved by somebody or other and Aditi going after Shlok.

Todays thoughts...

The adventures of baby bear and his honeypot

Does honeypot know that she is lost in the forest? 🤔 It didn't seem so...she was more bothered about the Ranchi asylum inmate's referral to self as baby bear's wife than the fact that she is lost in the forest 😆. Anyway while running she bumps into baby bear and as usual burrows into her sanctuary...I mean baby bear's chest and he also does not mind putting his arms around his honeypot. His expression was like "She is again hugging me...what to do? Should I stop her? But I do like it. Hope she continues". 😆I liked how this scene was captured...with both of them hugging each other and the soft white light radiating around their silhouette. Then as usual both end up arguing and baby bear asks her will she come with him. Honeypot returns that that is what she wants to do...walk with baby bear but it is he who only starts running.👏 Yeh, there are some demons chasing him and that's why he runs to protect himself.😳

Anyway round two of their public display of affection happens in front of the honeymoon cottage which is currently being possessed by the Ranchi asylum's escaped inmate. By the way she is now using her next round of ammunition...a baby pink negligee. Did she think that baby bear will not find his honeypot and then jump on her?😳 Or is she waiting for the manager to jump on her?🤔 Anyway poor baby bear gets a heart attack seeing the Ranchi asylum's escaped inmate in baby pink negligee and does an about turn to walk out of the cottage and right into his honeypot who enquires that where he has seen a ghost. Well not a ghost exactly...but a banshee definitely who carries weapons of destruction with her and is a murder junkie. I hope that baby bear is not too traumatised and does not start suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Anyway baby bear stomps off and sits on a bench and honeypot decides that she has to tell him what is bothering her...but not in her direct way😆. She chooses baby bear's roundabout way regarding making a point. So she starts shouting that she has hurt her hand. Of course baby bear also jumps up because his honeypot has got hurt😳 but then honeypot can't decide where exactly she has got hurt and tells baby bear that she definitely has got hurt somewhere😳. Baby bear realises what honeypot is up to and tells her off for not telling him directly what is bothering her. I liked honeypot's reply that she always says everything directly but this time she decided to try his way of telling people that he is hurt...the roundabout way. Well she is right...that is what baby bear is expert on. Honeypot tells him the main issue that has been bothering her and what has hurt her that why did baby bear refer to the Ranchi asylum's wandering inmate as his wife.

Round three was about the relationship that exist between the two of them. Honeypot is taking her rights of being his wife. Baby bear also tells her that by now she should have understood what the relationship between them is. As usual baby bear will make faces at her but will not tell her that he has started giving her the rights and actually does not like when someone else lays claim to his honeypots rights on him as his wife. 😳Although honeypot initially did not want to accept that she is jealous but then accepts it openly and tells baby bear that being jealous is another aspect of love. This reminded me of the scene just before baby bear declared to the world that he has chosen honeypot as his future wife...he had pinned her to the wall and indirectly told her that she is jealous if he pays attention to someone else and that why doesn't honeypot tell him what is there in her heart. That time honeypot had refused to tell him her feelings and had even told him that she will not tell him anything that will result in her pain. Both have come a long way...so another circle gets completed. Baby bear tells his honeypot that just because someone says something, it does not become the truth and that she should not cross boundary. Oh yes...boundary...that she shouldn't have any emotional claim on him but then won't tell her that he was actually doing a high five when he realised in the roadside restaurant that honeypot is jealous of that wandering lunatic.😳 Basically he will not tell her anything that according to him might leave him Vulnerable to being hurt. I liked baby bear's expression when honeypot told him that since he has removed himself from the feeling called love, he won't understand why she is feeling jealous...But he knows that she is jealous so has he really removed himself from love? Anyway, since honeypot has decided to tell him everything, she also tells him that she is going inside and baby bear has a very important declaration to make regarding his honeypot ...That nothing can be done about her and that she is a total gone case ...a certified mental. Oh yeh! Can't even recognise the real mental asylum's inmate and calling honeypot one...Blah humbug!

Present and future Kalindi

I liked the parallel shown between Kalindi and Jyoti. Kalindi wakes up and is panicking that honeypot is in danger and is calling out to her and Avdhut tries to calm her down. In the same way Jyoti also wakes up and is scared about her child. ...only to be calmed down by Barney who in his own unassuming way see to it that she relaxes and also indirectly tells her that there are no controls on her and she can leave whenever she wants. He is giving her the space that Jyoti needs and not pressuring her in anyway.

Honeypot and her anger.

I liked that honeypot clearly spelled it out to the wandering lunatic that she did cross her line regarding her behaviour and that she did not refer to herself as Mrs. Agnihotri just because she was scared. But I did not like the dialogues that were exchanged between the two. Honeypot told her that what does it matter to her in what condition she was in...the wandering lunatic was safe being Mrs. Agnihotri and when honeypot out of good manners told her that she is letting this go and that she understands...the lunatic told her that she know that Honeypot will understand her condition. Now since honeypot has questioned the Ranchi asylums escaped inmate, she decides to make a point by sleeping on the bed. Honeypot was furious and she might have dragged the lunatic from the bed if baby bear did not walk in. I liked the look that baby bear gave his honeypot...he was looking a bit disappointed and he walks out saying that he will sleep outside.

Honeypot, baby bear with fire and nature as witness.

Baby bear is reclining against a tree trunk and sleeping and honeypot covers him with a blanket. She looks at him with a very soft expression on her face and then wraps a shawl around herself and sits just a little distance away from baby bear. With the soft rays of the moon for company, surrounded by the warmth of the fire and looking at her heart's desire Honeypot says that just like the moon is always accompanied by moonlight, so does she also want to be with baby bear. So she does not see baby bear as the all-powerful Sun, but the gentle moon.Interesting... She wants the time to stand still and that she is now afraid of the sun because with sunrise one more day will start and their time together will slowly come to an end. Baby bear had opened his eyes and he was looking very distressed when honeypot mentioned Sun God. He took a deep gulp of air...as if he was drowning in his fears and he wanted to save himself. It looks like he is afraid that Sun God or destiny will again take away something that is precious to him. Is he getting scared of again losing control. So few days back with the evening sun behind him and rays of the sum radiating around him, baby bear was desperately clinging to Honeypot after he saved her from the car accident and at night fall he is gulping for air because of his fear of loss. But he is not alone with his fears...honeypot is also there with him and she is letting him know that she does not want to leave him and that she wants to spend all her nights with him, with the moon and the stars as company...that she does not want to leave him alone in darkness. Baby bear continues looking distressed and his honeypot starts crying...she then realises that bay bear is looking at her and wipes her tears. The scene ends with Baby bear's eyes on his honeypot. If Jyoti is the next Kalindi, then in this scene honeypot was reminding me of Anjali...especially the scene when she was sitting lost in an easy chair...all alone at night. I know that baby bear is not Neeranjan and I hope the Anjali in him stop him from becoming one.

I liked the link here between Sun and the moon...if Shloke is the moon then he is dependent on the Sun...The moon does not have any light of its own...it reflects the light from the Sun. The day Shloke realises and accepts that he need not control anything and he decides to leave his issues behind...he will be at peace with himself and will light up the darkness with Astha as company and they both will be able to show other people who have lost their way in the darkness...the right path. But here the Sun is now the enemy because Shloke still feels that he has to control...he is not letting go of his issues...so how will the moon light the sky and how will the moonlight be always be with the moon. Pretty nice symbolism...Shloke has to let go of his issues to find happiness with Astha. ...and right on cue Shloke takes gulps of air because he is panicking that he will have to face his issues.

Jyoti and Sidharth (Barney)

Jyoti is probably getting to sleep without any fear after a long time. This guy is pretty perceptive. He rightly guessed from the way Jyoti was sleeping that maybe after a long time she has been able to sleep peacefully. He wakes up Jyoti who is now distressed and he jokes about his appearance to calm her down. Jyoti is behaving like an abuse victim who expects the chop to fall on her head anytime and Barney tells her to relax and gives her tea. While Jyoti is drinking her tea, he observes her for some time and then asks her regarding why was she running at night and what is she running from...but he also gave her the option of not telling him anything and told her that if she tells him then he might be able to help her. He is leaving the decision to her but showing her that she need not be alone with her fears. He then asks her that from whom is she running away from and Jyoti who is completely panicking spills the tea all over the floor. Barney again calms her down and tells her that she can tell him when she wants to and sets about cleaning the mess created by Jyoti, when she got reminded about Abhay. It does look like he might be around to take care of the mess in Jyoti's life...the mess that is already present and the might that she might herself create in her panic regarding Abhay. Barney leaves for work and tells her that she can stay here and that she is safe here. Throughout the entire scene here I kept on seeing Avdhut while Barney was trying to put Jyoti at ease.

The rats are hurrying around

Both the rats...Abhay and Sulbha are now scared that how are they going to manage the situation and they are trying to look for a safe hole where they can hide away. Abhay and Sulbha are typical bullies who thrive on other people's fear...if the fear is taken away, they will also become insignificant.

Jungle Safari

I really like Astha and druggie(hope he atleast gets an extended cameo)😉 They are cute together ,would make good friends and would irritae the hell out of Shlokie boy.😆😆 I so wish they had brought him back with them , would have been a treat to watch him wake up and say 'Mrs Shlok Agnihotri'😆😆 Aastha can't let go of Aditi claiming to be 'Mrs Agnihotri' and just like her hubby predicted she isn't fully conscious that she is lost .

It's a pretty fast improvement for Shlok , unlike last time he didn't step away from the hug , let go only when it was necessary to do so... and move!😳 Aastha is right , he should stop and let her walk with him , if not anything it will be full too entertaining!😆😆

Aditi -Aastha - Shlok

Really what was this girl thinking? 😕 She has the highest levels of psychotic ism that she has doesn't even plan to quit anymore.Poor Shlok did really look like he saw a Shlok 😕😕

I quite liked the fact that Aastha told Aditi that she ain't falling for her crap. Cost them a bed perhaps 😉... well ... I guess if Shlok hadn't made an appearance Aastha would her shown her the way to the couch. 😆😆

Bench Talk

I liked this , honest and humorous!😃 'hamare beech jo bhi rishta hain ab tak tumhe samaj lena chahiye' , this dialogue at any other time would have had another meaning but now when related to a wife's jealousy tells a different story!😉 I liked how Aastha without mincing words told Shlok that he may have lost faith in love , she hasn't and has no qualms about being or accepting she is jealous. If Aastha is childlike then Shlok was mature with his 'Kisike ke kehne se ach nahin ho jata' 😃

Shlok is fully aware of Aastha's state and enjoys it too ... 'Fully gone case her ... certified mental'😆😆😆

Jyothi -Sid and Kalindi - Avdoot

Me likey this Sid character. He is just what Jyothi wants , who doesn't question , judge but supports! There is no match to instinct and Jyothi's today knew she was safe with his untidy , hapy go lucky chap and she slept peacefully perhaps after long!😉

Instinct knocked it's way in with another mother elsewhere. Danger has been playing ankh micholi with her daughter for long and how long can a mother remain oblivious?😕😕 Well she ain't getting through her daughter tomorrow who is set for a horsey adventure!😆😆

Sleep eludes under the open skies.

And no, mosquitoes aren't today's culprit but the longing of hearts. 😕 I couldn't place Shlok's reaction here , he did seem sad initially but when Aastha uttered that she feels the sun is her enemy , Shlok looked almost scared 😕😕 Was it the realization that destiny is going to deprive him again? A new day speaks of another day less he has with Aastha. He is by now aware that Aastha loves him but won't stay unless he loves her too. Shlok looked like something who grasps for breath after breaking surface in a furious water current , is he trying to escape the fast progress towards the looming loss?
