For me, I think that media should stop comparing and let the new BW onscreen couple make their own career graph. Everyday the replacement for SRK-Kajol changes...

Please don't destroy and desecrate my childhood by such comparisons. 😭

Ranveer/Deepika are OK. But they have miles and miles and miles and miles to go to reach the level of Kajol/SRK.

Ram Leela was all physical intensity and passion. Their chemistry was more erotic than romantic. They didn't have the charm, the humor, the innocence that SRK/Kajol had.

But I guess the era of fairytale romances is dead. 😒 Besides who needs the couple to actually interact, have conversations, build a relationship and fall in love over time. That is so freaking old fashioned and last century. Two hot bodies to scorch and sizzle with locked lips and intense eye f**king, now thats what real chemistry and romance is about.

Yeah I kind agree with this. Despite Deepika's recent successes, and Ranveer's recent claims to fame, I find them both to be underdogs. I think they are sort of outsiders in Bollywood for some reason. After watching Koffee with Karan (stupid, I should stop because he infuriates me), I find that the "industry families" are a bit meanspirited toward Deepika and Ranveer and that irks me no end. If it was merit-based I could understand but it's almost like these two are having great streaks in their career so they must be bashed by everyone.

Topic at hand: no I cant compare them to SRK and Kajol because I actually find that jodi very overrated. I only ever bought into them in KKHH, and even that wasnt fully because I found the storyline so problematic. I genuinely find Deepika and Ranveer more enigmatic and watchable.
