What do Britney Spears and Bobby Darling have in common? A clean-shaven head MAIN HOON NA: Bobby Darling Recently Bobby Darling shaved off her head for a film called Kalpvriksh — The Wishing Tree. Here, Bobby, who has redefined her gender in Bollywood, talks to HiTLIST about her bald pate. Why have you shaved off your head? Actually, I shaved off my head a year and a half back for a film called Kalpvriksh, which did not happen then. That same film is happening now. So you had a bald head a year-and-a- half back too? Yeah, but nobody knew about it (laughs). I too kept it a secret because it wouldn't have been fair to reveal the look as the film did not roll then. Was it the director Manika Sharma's idea? LOVE ME, LOVE MY PATE: Britney Spears Manika and I decided on the bald look. I play a poor guy who keeps complaining that he is a woman trapped in a man's body — just like I am in real life. After this role, those who make fun of me will change their opinion. I wear torn ghagra cholis in the film and sell daatun (a medicinal twig used for brushing teeth) to earn a living. Manika is a friend. I've known her from the days of Chalte Chalte, where she had come to meet SRK. She happened to tell me that she was making a film about people who earnestly want their wish to be fulfilled. When I heard the story, I told her to cast me in the film. I too have an earnest desire to undergo a sex change. Did Britney Spears inspire you at all? To an extent, yes. If Britney can carry it off with style, I think I can too. Where did you shave your head? I called the local barber home and he did the needful. Why not a salon? I was feeling nervous and shy. Anybody who does something different with one's looks is lying if he/she says there were no apprehensions. I felt that if I go to a salon, my nervousness might make me rethink my decision. Any regrets? Not at all. The best compliment? When I had gone takla one-and-half year back, I showed my look to Riteish Deshmukh. We had started Apna Sapna Money Money then. He said I looked like an angel. The worst compliment? Only few of my friends know that I have shaved my head. Nobody has said I look bad. In fact, they all complimented me on my new look. They say that I make a very cute takla. Do you sport your bald head in the open? No way. I wear a wig. I have 30 wigs. Why haven't you gone out in your new look? Well, it's early days. I just got it done. Men who look sexy when bald? I liked Salman Khan when he had shaved his head. I was on the sets of Jaan-E-Mann when he had gone bald. I think Hrithik will make a lovely takla too, since he has sharp features. Aditya Panscholi also looks good bald. And of course, my ultimate fantasy, Akshay Kumar. And yes, I went crazy when I learnt that Irrfan Pathan (the cricketer) had gone takla a few months ago. I consider Irrfan to be my husband (laughs). I called him to compliment him on his new look. And women? Persis Khambatta looked cute. Shabana Azmi is God when it comes to acting, but I don't think she looked good when she shaved her head. I would like to see Sridevi go bald. Even Rani will look interesting without hair. Subtle look Director Manika Sharma says, "I told Bobby to remove all her garish make-up as I wanted a subtle look for the film. When I told her the story, she cried. She said that she too has an earnest desire and I must take her in the film. I weaved her character into the story and it worked out very well. My film focuses on environmental problems and it is the story of five children. I have completed the first schedule and the second starts in Panchgani in mid-May."

i have been following on ur posts recently and u have to stop making rude/harsh/unnecessary comments on stars/celebrities/common person...this is called violating the peace of the forum, which is against IF rules...

OMG!! this looks scary..... I liked only one person who looks hot even after getting bald ie Salman Khan - no one can carry that look as gracefully as he does IMO
