His leaving him was baffling me as well! Paro and her safety was no longer a priority! A terrorist about to escape, be left to create more havoc was not a top priority. I just found that part so disturbing and conflicting with what we have been shown of Rudra from day 1.

The story at this point should have been dealt with a little differently. Like some on e already pointed out ---he could have asked some other officer to get her, search for her and go back to his dad. That would heve made more sense that somebody did find her, gave her new clothes😛 and took her to headquarters. Would have made the flow so much even. But maybe they will mention or show in the near future.

But its if u see people who come from army families who argue this, we cannot say that the sensibilities they have grown up with is wrong that what their fathers and brothers have always showed them is the reality is a lie or wrong.. It would be disrespecting those real soldiers who probably will actually choose that stranger over their own family in the name of duty.

I Know but We need to detach ourselves from the show because it's show and not a documentary on Army. Personaly it just did not shocked seeing Rudra going to his father.

Rudra did everything to protect Paro and in fact the first and only thing he had to mind was to Save Paro from Tejawat once he was turn around, just like a real and no one mention it !

Chalo someone post it...I was thinking same as Rudra knows that Paro has no weapon or anything...thakur sa can kill her ...how cud he leave her with thakur sa ?..even he doesn't know her...it is in his duty as a bsd major to save her first priority..I think rukmini told him don't worry Paro in kali avatar now and he can go to hospital ...😃

but well CVs take creative liberties...

maybe they should have shown Aman n some other officers going after her instead...

Creative liberties revoked. If he has head injuries and is still adamant to save her then there is motive. I will even go so far as to speculate Rudra was on duty with Aman during his wedding which makes this an entire professional affair. If he is true to his uniform then there is no question about saving the asset. How does Rudra have any certainty that Thakur will be caught...?

If I remember correctly, Aman was stopping Rudra from going after Paro because they had already collected the evidence against Tejawat and they didn't need Paro anymore. And Aman is an officer as well. Why did he stop Rudra to go after her?

As far as I understood, Rudra went on his own accord to save her not as an officer. I could be wrong but that's what I'd understood yesterday.

You are sooo right.
I did not like him turning back. That is so not an officer's ethic. As a civilian I did not like this, I can imagine what u felt. Infact in this serial I always felt they could have shown more sense in him than his actions. Be it not trying to convince her (he did after she was taken out into village as a bride), no proper investigative questioning her that would have atleast made her think, forcing her to sign and to say he would marry her if she did not sign were too many creative liberties for a character who considers his job over his parents. I hope they start making convincing plots going fwd. I am not saying I did not like the plot so far but it did seem too off character for an officer to behave the way he did. Leaving that aside I enjoyed the show 😛.

Imagine thinking two people might die. One is a woman who you tried to save several times, but she just attacked you and left, the other is your father.. I don't think it's that illogical for him to want be there for what he probably believed to be his fathers last moments. He pretends he doesn't have a great bond with his father, but he quite obviously loves him, after all this is the man who brought him up. Besides I don't think anyone should have to explain why a person would want to be near their parents bedside, when they think they're dying.

Yes it's a bit out of character that he left Paro, but would it have been in character for him to not rush to his dying father? I don't think so.

Anyway, logical talk aside, this needed to happen. We needed to have the Paro contemplation scenes, and him not running after her helped create the police station drama, and most importantly to create the misunderstanding between Paro and Rudra as now they're going to show how she has to try hard to win his trust.

P.S. Does his duty really include trying to rescue a woman who helped a criminal? If anything he should've followed Paro, to arrest her.😛

I didn't find that out of character. After all, it was his father, of course he would go! Clearly, his priorities for his father outweigh his care for Paro. He made a choice: to see his father or save this "bewakoof ladki", who chose to go with Tejawat. I would've done the same thing if I was in his position. A parent is a parent, no matter the circumstance or a person's occupation.

Now the actual MU is something he really needs to mull over because there is evidence FOR and AGAINST Paro. After blaming Paro, I hope he - or actually the CVs - have a plan up their sleeves... but that seems bleaks, based on the history of Desi serials...

Yes I don't find it out of character at all. Intact that was the best thing I liked about the episode.
