I didn't find that out of character. After all, it was his father, of course he would go! Clearly, his priorities for his father outweigh his care for Paro. He made a choice: to see his father or save this "bewakoof ladki", who chose to go with Tejawat. I would've done the same thing if I was in his position. A parent is a parent, no matter the circumstance or a person's occupation.
Now the actual MU is something he really needs to mull over because there is evidence FOR and AGAINST Paro. After blaming Paro, I hope he - or actually the CVs - have a plan up their sleeves... but that seems bleaks, based on the history of Desi serials...
